Cher Lloyd should be banned from recording studios for life. I'm not a hater, Cher, I just have ears.

Also, Lady GaGa is a pathetic attention singer who needs to just piss off and come back when she actually has a good song which hasnt been since 2010

OMFG A WHOLE TEN MONTHS AGO, SHE'S SO OVER THE HILL

Seriously, people need to get a f***ing grip with GaGa. Backlashes happen with everything that's mentally successful from the off, "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" (I know it's a TV show rather than a pop star but the comparison still stands) suffered it worse than most in its second season - despite the second season being damn good - but carried on regardless, and over ten years became the most successful sitcom ever.

I can probably count them using the amount of thumbs on one hand. :kink: let's see, there's 'halo'... oh and that's it! :D

From Beyonce I like;

Halo

Best Thing I Never Had

Baby Boy with Sean Paul

I always hated Deja Vu, Run The World, Beautiful Liar with a passion. I used to like Crazy In Love but I now hate it thanks to overplay. Sweet Dreams and Irreplaceable are 'OK' but I don't like them too much.

Always liked Listen and my fav is If I were a Boy. Just like the lyrics coz they're true :) Still like the video for Crazy in Love even if it is overplayed.

it's really just 'halo' for me :P well 'irreplaceable' and 'deja vu' at a push are alright too. everything else ranges from average to dire. 'run the world (girls)' is by far the worst song of this year, and 'crazy in love' is for sure the most overrated song of all-time. I just don't get the appeal with it at all?

Oh forgot about If I Were A Boy. Horrible mess of a song, always hated that one too :puke: If you were a boy Beyonce, maybe you'd stop shoving music in our faces

LOL I think we have a slight difference of opinion :) Made me giggle tho. I liked Single Ladies for about 5 minutes and it started to drive me insane.

I take it you haven't listened to 'Born This Way'? 17 good BRILLIANT songs right there.

Rihanna didn't deserve to be #1 yesterday, especially considering the track which entered at only #25 (:() PISSES all over 'We Found Love'. That should've been #1 instead.

I thought you were referring to Florence for a second there, then I realised you were talking about Marina and was incredibly disappointed. 'Radioactive' is absolutely awful in comparison to Marina's RATHER GOOD first era. She doesn't NEED to sell out, she may not have done that well with her first era but she's not going to do any better with this era anyway :(

Good Beyoncé songs:

Crazy In Love

Halo

Sweet Dreams

And then a bunch of tracks on 4 that I won't bother to list. She is so darn patchy.

Right now I can't stand Pitbull. STOP RUINING PERFECTLY GOOD POP SONGS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. He is like AIDS. Once he got a foothold he spread and now he's claiming the lives of THOUSANDS of pop songs every year.

I wish rihanna and lady gaga would just stop attention whoring and go away for a few years.
If they want to release music that is up to them. Hardly attention whoring. But at the same time it would be quite nice to have a break from Rihanna! She never goes away.
I like Nicole Scherzinger as a person after becoming obsessed with US X Factor. But her music still sounds like it was recorded in a sewage tank.

I like this post very muchly. (Whatever U Like is orgasmic though but the rest is POO)

I also hope rebecca ferguson flops like a dog's ear. another dull soul singing mannequin whose face looks like a slapped arse.
im so glad that will young is miles ahead of joe mcelderry in the album midweeks. justice served

I really think Lady Gaga has had a crap year in terms of singles.

Born This way- Was not as good as everyone expected

Judas- A bad rip off of Bad Romance

The Edge Of Glory-Crap Video

You and I-The song is boring

Arguable.

No.

Yes.

No way.

It is funny Matt flopping because he has been pitched, promoted and sold as the anti X-factor act, the 'real' artist that was breaking barriers and a cut above other winners.

He will be joining Steve Brookstien in a new supergroup Flop & Floppier this time next year.

Totally disagree, 'Run For Your Life' is just a terrible song. I reckon his album has much stronger tracks on there.

& for Lady GaGa:

Born this Way: Nice production, clichéd message. People just aren't going to buy into that; not everyone that buys her music is "gay, straight or bi".

Judas: Thankfully it had a catchy hook, but there was just no hype at all to this. It's a pretty safe, boring choice of a song to release.

Edge of Glory: Regardless of the video, the song is wonderful! Shame it didn't do better.

You and I: Definitely one of my favourite tracks by her (and usually I cannot stand her). But as a single, it was never going to work.

Lastly, 'Marry The Night'?! wtf. This will flop.

I'm sure the transgendered and Lebanese of the world are OUTRAGED to be lumped in with those dirty gays, straights and bis. APPALLING

I largely agree with this, I still really like "Born This Way" but it is a bit clichéd. Perfect introductory single to the era though, which is more than you can say for "Judas". BTW the album is a pretty sizeable step forward from "The Fame" so it was very cowardly to release a rehash of "Bad Romance" as possibly the most crucial single of the whole campaign. Well, it would have been the most crucial had "The Edge of Glory" not been so well-received, I think that partially saved the era although the video was poor which explains it not managing to repeak on its full release.

This actually perfectly sums up my thoughts on this Gaga era. I haven't heard any of the others aside from the singles (and Hair once on the chart show, but I can't really remember it), but surely Scheisse is the only one left that's actually got any hype behind it, and I haven't heard it, that's just due to the title. She can't go into 7th or so singles, she doesn't have THAT much power. Marry The Night isn't looking like it'll outpeak anything. That said, her singles haven't been bad per se, they just don't seem to be anything amazing. I haven't been really motivated enough to get the album.
