Completely agree with what Gary said, she already seems like an artist! She really deserves to win, but I hope she doesn't so she doesn't get ruined by Syco! I think the public might turn against her soon though :(

Why do you think the public will turn against her? Do you mean personality wise or do you mean that people will get bored of her performances?

What on earth were you listening to? It couldn't have been more different from the original if it tried!

Yes quite. Like Hits I didn't even recognise it until the chorus!

10 acts in the final would be quite generous.

I sometimes have this thought that it would be interesting if in reality shows, all the contestants get through to the final and then people pick the winner out of all of them. Then no one would have to bear being eliminated.

The Risk - Just The Way You Are

This is pretty decent. I also think I was a bit harsh of them last week after their performance of 'She Said'. Actually impressed with this which I wasn't expecting before they started performing. 8/10

Misha B = 9/10

The Risk = 8/10

Johnny Robinson = 8/10

Marcus Collins = 7/10

Sami Brooks = 7/10

Craig Colton = 7/10

Rhythmix = 6/10

Janet Devlin = 6/10

Frankie Cocozza = 3/10

Nu Vibe = 3/10

Good performance but annoying that Matt performed this last year. Maybe they should've done "Marry You'

01 Rhythmix - You'll all probably think I've gone CUCKOO by doing this - but that was my favourite performance so far. I just loved it, such a feel good performance amongst all the ballads. And, it was sung really well. 8.5/10

02 Janet - Probably her weakest performance yet for me - but still my favourite performance so far. I just love how delicate every song she sings feels, really smooth and soft and lovely. Anyway, enough of me gushing. 8/10

03 The Risk - What makes them different to Nu Vibe is the simple fact they sing as a group. They feel like a group, and I think they're fantastic. 8/10

04 Marcus - When he was on the ball, he was the best of the night, 9/10. However, there were quite a few points when he went a bit off key, and there were bits too deep for him. I still enjoyed what he did with it though. 8/10

05 Misha - A massive step down from last week for me, it just didn't seem very different to the original, which is what I love about Misha. I love the performance element, but I'm just a little bit disappointed after how amazed I was by her last week. 7.5/10

06 Sami - Sat here with such a smile on my face, sure it's a bit copycat and karaoke, but the bottom line is - she can sing it, and she can hit the notes. There's people like Janet and Sophie with quirky voices, it's refreshing to see a normal voice, who can just.. sing. 7.5/10

07 Craig - A lot weaker than last week - only the last 45 seconds did him any justice. The first verse was pretty flat, but once he gets going, he is quite good. 7/10

08 Johnny - I actually think he sang quite well there... the bits I could hear throughout me and my mum screeching with laughter at the 'Blueberry' comment. 5.5/10

09 Nu Vibe - Whoever thought, let's have them sing with minimal instrumental at the start, was a good idea. It wasn't, it highlighted their flaws. You can tell they're five solo singers. Weak. 5/10

10 Frankie - I lost count of how many flat notes there were, I could count the notes he hit on one hand. 2/10

The Risk 9.0

Yes, they are the new JLS. Despite the song choice - that I hate it - their vocals were surprisingly good.

Janet 9.5

The Risk 9.0

Misha B 9.0

Rhythmix 8.5

Frankie 8.0

Marcus 7.0

Craig 7.0

Sami 6.5

Johnny 6.0

Nu Vibe 5.5

Fairly good from The Risk, a little standard, but they did a good job of making Just The Way You Are individual.

9.5/10 Rhythmix

9/10 Craig

9/10 Misha

8/10 Sami

7/10 Marcus

6/10 The Risk

6/10 Janet

4/10 Johnny

3/10 Nu Vibe

2/10 Frankie

I really liked The Risk's performance. I wasn't really expecting that!

The Risk: Well that was actually quite good :o They seemed to be just as bad as Nu Vibe in the 'lack of chemistry' stakes last week but I felt they worked as a group much better today. And at least 2 of them can actually sing which is more than you can say for most boybands from the X Factor. Maybe I was too quick to judge them...

Rates 2011 (week 2)

9.5 Janet Devlin - (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You

9.0 Marcus Collins - Russian Roulette

8.5 Misha B - Would I Lie To You?

8.5 The Risk - Just The Way You Are

7.0 Sami Brookes - I Will Always Love You

6.5 Craig Colton - Best Thing I Never Had

6.0 Frankie Cocozza - The Scientist

4.5 Rhythmix - I'm Like A Bird

1.0 Nu Vibe - With Or Without You

1.0 Johnny Robinson - Can't Get You Out Of My Head

They made the best of a safe song choice there. The new arrangement helped. Unusually it seems like they can all sing reasonably well which is nice. Good PERF although they need to step it up within a week or two.

6.0 Janet

I love how Tulisa sometimes forgets that she's supposed to talk last when it's her own category and the camera goes to Kelly after Louis whilst she's giving her a ghetto ass look.

The Risk - The dreaded stools arrive. I don't know it didn't really do much for me....maybe in general I don't enjoy Boy bands a whole lot. Possibly because boyband usually means drowning in clichés.6/10

Damn, I'm a little disappointed with Sophie's performance. Her voice is lovely but I preferred her last week.

Sophie Habibis - Wherever You Will Go

Well, I've still not heard this version that's currently top 10 on iTunes. Will have to YouTube it methinks. As for Sophie, I'm finding it a tad shouty in places but overall a pleasant performance but nothing outstanding compared to Misha B. 6/10

I wouldn't have backed Sophie anywhere NEAR as much last week had I known she was capable of being this whiny!
