I only like Halo from Karma's list.

I only like Fix You. I guess no songs are universally loved. I also hate 'My Heart Will Go On'

Wonderwall is terrible. Of Oasis songs it would surely behind a minimum of Live Forever, Don't Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova? They're all far more universally liked than Wonderwall is.

Nothing that has been overkilled by radio over the years will apply, as they'll have grown to annoy far too many people, which seems to apply so at least half of the songs mentioned so far.

Back To Black?

:heehee: There is never going to be any song every single individual loves, we can attempt to think of majority though I guess, universally this year Adele's 21 is loved, cant be argued.
Gorillaz/ Feel Good Inc

Gnarls Barkley/ Crazy

Agreed wholeheartedly with both. Also, what about Use Somebody?

The Smiths - How Soon Is Now? though the cover version used on "Charmed" is better.

:manson: Charmed? No.

I'd say 'This Charming Man' more than 'How Soon Is Now?' anyway.

I was thinking of this song, though many here dislike the song and the band. Hmm... it might be a different story outside the forum world.

It's weird but I like Fix You when I can watch the video along with it, otherwise the song does nothing for me.

A song I love and never tire of is Vincent by Don McLean.

It can and will be argued, I'm sick of the bloody thing.

This. Although if Vidcapper hates "all Oasis songs" then even the supreme "Live Forever" isn't immune, bizarrely. I'd say that anything with a fairly distinctive vocalist such as Liam Gallagher is off the list, there'll always be someone who their voice grates on. I'm yet to find some who hates "Good Riddance", I think even the goons who spend all day saying OMFG GREEN DAY SOLD OUT THEY'RE JUST THE SAME AS MCFLY NOW would secretly admit it's rather good.

Same, although I never wasn't. Rolling In The Deep is the only Adele song I'd ever get close to choosing to listen to. Technically brilliant her voice may be, but it's not something I've ever liked hearing or ever want to hear, so horribly annoying. The only good thing about Someone Like You is this "review" of it: http://thequietus.com/articles/06446-adele...like-you-review

That's superb

Shamefully I'm one of the three million-odd who've bought "21" this year. Which is probably the most convincing argument for scrapping Mothers Day.

Is that partly because of it's longevity?

It's amazing chart run is the only noteworthy thing about it.

It's indescribably dull & dreary, it just drones on and on, never actually going anywhere.

it's a comtemptible thing!

And here they are... :P

Can't stand the song - I find it as irritating & unlistenable as almost every Oasis song.

It's by no means my favourite Oasis song, but I don't hate it. A tad overrated perhaps.

However this seems to be the Oasis track that seems to be regarded as their 'classic' song.

Brilliant stuff

Gorillaz/ Feel Good Inc

Gnarls Barkley/ Crazy

I actually DETEST Crazy. One of the worst songs I have ever heard.

I was thinking about this before, clearly there's no song that EVERYONE likes but I'd be interested to know if we could find any that no one on the forum has an active dislike of. The first two that sprang to mind (from the last ten years anyway) were:

Outkast - Hey Ya!

Johnny Cash - Hurt

If this gets a good amount of replies I might make a poll out of it.

Hey Ya! is thoroughly awful :puke:

Crazy and Hey Ya! are both genius.
