I'm glad Groovejet is gone. Such a dull song to me. Although some of my favourites have gone very early aswell (Lose My Breath, Feel Good, Round Round).

WTF at Don't Stop The Music getting so many votes. This forum has bizarre taste in Rihanna songs, DSTM is quite clearly her best by far. Well, What's My Name? comes close.

tbh, I got really sick of it quite quickly in early 2008 when it was on non stop in every club you went to.

I agree with this forum (for once :cheer: :lol:). Don't Stop the Music is one of her worst songs, easily. Boring and generic. Same goes for Disturbia.

 

Live Your Life and Take a Bow should've made the top 4 in 2008 instead of those two. :(

Well, Don't Stop The Music is alright, but by Rihanna's standards... no.

 

Disturbia though is AMAZING! As is Umbrella.

 

I do agree with you on the other two, though. Both lack quite a lot of love that they definitely deserve.

Take A Bow is the reason Rihanna shouldn't do ballads. It's such a dull song and her voice is so monotonous in it.

To be fair, Take A Bow is Rihanna's worst ballad single. The fact I still absolutely love it says a lot about the other 3 (Unfaithful, Russian Roulette, and CKB). :D

All of Rihanna's ballads are completely unbearable except 'Unfaithful' which is alright. She's NOT a ballad singer, her voice, while good on uptempo songs, just doesn't work on ballads.

Russian Roulette and California King Bed are soooooooo boring imo.

 

I love Take a Bow and Unfaithful so much. I listen to them all the time, and I would love more Rihanna songs like them. I don't think they're boring (not as much as even Don't Stop the Music and Disturbia), although some of her other ballads can quite boring be to me.
