Actually it's a break after every 3 episodes. I think we'll only get to watch up to E09 this year.

I like Shelby's parts a lot but can't say I'm fussed with Will's section.

 

Not a very interesting promo but I am liking that there is lots of Santana and that she seems to be on the Adele mash-up.

Love it, probably my favourite track of the season so far already :o

I don't think it works as well as the past Glee mashups. I really like the 'Someone Like You' part and would prefer it to have been just that one song, Rumour Has It has never been one of my 21 favourites.

The Adele mash-up is just perfect. By far the best musical performance of the season so far.

 

'And your moustache is thicker than a middle eastern dictators' is now possibly one of my favourite Santana lines to date. Can we not just make the entire show about her?

Really, really adore that mash up! Two of my favourite songs from Adele, and Glee somehow make them both work so well together. It's up there as one of the best Glee covers, ever for me already. Beautiful. 'Someone Like You' may have suffered from over exposure/overplay over here, but it really is a stunning song.

 

As usual, the mash-up doesn't seem to disappoint. :wub:

 

EDIT: So it turns out this is one of the best songs of the season. I honestly can't stop playing it at the moment.

This was the episode that this seasons Glee was missing! It was brilliant, I thought. Not only did Quinn feature a lot, but there was finally some movement on the whole Santana thing! Looking forward to how it all comes about for her now.

I enjoyed it but I thought in places it seemed a bit like a filler episode just to set it all up for the next one (with the whole Santana thing).

 

The Adele mash-up has really grown on me and I have to agree with everyone else about it now.

 

Sue's campaigns seemed a bit silly, like people would actually believe them? It just makes her look bad.

 

Not sure on the Puck/Shelby thing yet but I'm glad Quinn got what was coming to her.

Really loved the episode and i think the troubletones sang better than new direction loved there mash up and i am on Santans side Finn desreved that slap that was lethal

Also a shame that the first time 'stunt' has failed to boost ratings as they're falling even further :o.

 

It's not overly surprising though - most of the characters are really hard to sympathise with now - the only ones I really care for are Santana, Puck, Brittany, Shelby & Finn really - it's a far cry from how lovable they all were in S1.

I don't know if I even 'care' for all of them even. Brittany & Shelby yes, but Finn doesn't seem as likeable anymore. Puck has his moments. As for Santana, she's still my favourite but you can't sympathise with her all the time because after all, she is a bitch.

 

My favourite scene was probably the class president debate, that was quite sweet, and of course the ending of the episode.

 

What has happened to Sugar? After looking like a great character in the first episode and having the whole 'I'm better than you' attitude she's since been a proper disappointment. The Sugar we saw at the start of the season wouldn't have given in without a fight and let Mercedes lead the group and sway in the background during performances.

 

I really don't know whats up with the ratings. People kept moaning about the quality during season 2 but they remained over a 4.0 most of the season, and now when the general consensus seems to be that season 3 is better, they're lower than ever. That's the second lowest number the shows ever had unless it gets adjusted up I think.

What did Finn whisper to Rachel about Santana? I completely missed it and wondered what the whole hulabaloo was about :lol: I also think that 'Rumour Has It/Someone Like You' has been the best song of the season so far. :wub:

Also the Adele mash up made me realise just how shit the chorus to Rumour Has It is. The mash up would've worked so much better if they cut out the chorus to RHI and used the entire chorus from SLY.

Rumour Has It / Someone Like You one of the best Glee covers ever, and great mash-up! Santana is by FAR my favourite character. She is just immense!

 

I would love a Brittany/Santana spin off.
