October 18, 201113 yr just goes to prove how much of a non winner joe mcelderry was..... Did you mean Leon Jackson? :heehee: (Not meant to offend, I mean check the album sales)
October 18, 201113 yr just goes to prove how much of a non winner joe mcelderry was..... Yes a lot of "non winners" get asked to perform at the Royal Festival of Rememberance in front of millions.
October 18, 201113 yr Did you mean Leon Jackson? :heehee: (Not meant to offend, I mean check the album sales) i feel for leon jackson, he should never have won to be in that position.....

October 18, 201113 yr singing covers and only covers..... to a worldwide audience :) I guess you need someone who can be relied upon to sing in tune for that :D
October 19, 201113 yr really shows the fall off in album sales in recent years though - almost any of those completely blow out of the water everyone but Adele this year.
October 19, 201113 yr really shows the fall off in album sales in recent years though - almost any of those completely blow out of the water everyone but Adele this year. Yes sales have tailed off and I'm sure most of those runner up releases were tied in with Mother's Day. Cover albums always sell well then.
October 20, 201113 yr singing covers and only covers..... Like Adele, Florence, Katherine Jenkins, Ellie Goulding, Michael Buble, Josh Gorban... And Joe hasn't just sang only covers. ;) :D to a worldwide audience :) I guess you need someone who can be relied upon to sing in tune for that :D As well as to the Queen, and royal family. :D Edited October 20, 201113 yr by jonmove

October 20, 201113 yr  Make You Feel My Love. You've Got The Love. Your Song. These were also released as singles.
October 20, 201113 yr Make You Feel My Love. You've Got The Love. Your Song. These were also released as singles. They also didn't release albums of just covers which is why I think Bre was slightly confused at you mentioning them.
October 20, 201113 yr They also didn't release albums of just covers which is why I think Bre was slightly confused at you mentioning them. They still released covers, whether singles or albums. That was the point. It really shows a lot about their talent when they do it. More power to them. Also, Joe's Classic album is not all covers.
October 20, 201113 yr That's one out of seven singles by Adele, one out of nine singles by Florence + The Machine and one out of six singles by Ellie Goulding... last time I checked proportions like that don't equate to singing 'covers and only covers'.... Edited October 20, 201113 yr by Bré
