Has Kelly Clarkson not climbed at all after the performance?

Yes, she's gone from #10 to #6

Just out of interest is GaGa's Edge of Glory doing much movement after Kitty's performance? :)

#67 + #132

Edited by MrGaGa

It will, but it's too soon to notice anything I think.

Bruno Mars songs:

29. Marry You

34. Lighters

76. The Lazy Song

96. Count On Me

102. Just the Way You Are

115. Grenade

372. Grenade

373. Marry You

436. Just the Way You Are

911. Mirror - Impressed this is still in the top 1000 tbh

960. Talking to the Moon - This is a top 1000 staple

Already having a massive effect!!! :o :o

24. Marry You

34. Lighters

56. Runaway Baby

59. Just the Way You Are :drama:

61. The Lazy Song

73. Grenade

85. Count On Me

162. Grenade

189. Just the Way You Are

355. Marry You

381. Billionaire

426. Nothin' On You

565. Billionaire

723. Talking to the Moon

899. Mirror

999. Runaway Baby

The only song that hasn't climbed (yet) is Lighters. Even Nothin' On You and Billionaire are back in the top 1000 now (the latter, twice). Just the Way You Are could even re-enter the top 40 if it holds up.

Yes, she's gone from #10 to #6

Oh, last time I looked on here she was #6 so I thought she hadn't moved, silly me. Hope it goes Top 5 again!

Is 'Runaway Baby' a single or is it just to boost album sales?

I'd say to boost album sales, its done wonders for his album already (#4 iTunes album chart)

We don't know for certain as LPB hasn't updated yet. He probably is though. (At the moment LPB is still saying Lab is ahead combined (barely) - 91% + 9.8%).

I think it was a poor decision on Bruno's behalf to promote the album. Admittedly 'It Will Rain' is going to have promotion from the new Twilight film, but 'Monster' by Paramore peaked on iTunes within the first few days and wasn't seen of much afterwards - so I think 'It Will Rain' will do something very similar, although doing a Muse 'Neutron Star Collision' wouldn't be such a bad thing (peaked at #11 officially).

Still think he should've performed 'Marry You' - it's already jumped 5 places on the back of a performance, so imagine what'd happen if he actually performed the track. I'm assuming a video is on the cards?

I really don't think they'll make a video for Marry You unless they release it in the US. Which I'm not sure if they will, since they've already released It Will Rain there (it only went top 10 on iTunes and then free-falled BIG TIME (like Justin Bieber's song did last week here), but it looks like it's climbing a bit again).

Monster and NSC(LIF) were OA/OS, while It Will Rain has already received support from Radio 1, I think it'll do much better (probably top 5).

Runaway Baby is 59p too, is it being advertised on the 59p songs page?

I'm not sure whether I like it enough to buy it, but with it being 59p is in it's favour :D

Prof Green SMASHED xfactor. I don't like the show but recorded it and watched the performance. Emile Sande is destined for HUGE things here and internationally.

I think it was a brilliant decision for Bruno to promote his album.

DW&H is nearing the 1m mark and if I was him, I'd want to push the album over a million rather than promote a soundtrack which will probably do well regardless. I for one really enjoyed his performance tonight!

Kelly was great too! Hopefully she charts top 5 this week.

Bruno's album would have got a massive boost whatever he performed - IMO the best choice would be for him to perform Marry You in an attempt to kill two birds with one stone - get another top 10 hit (possibly) AND increase album sales.

When Coldplay and Beyoncé headlined at Glasto, the songs of theirs that got the biggest boost were their most well-known songs which the most people already owned - people are probably more convinced to buy a song after a performance if they're already familiar with the song and I'd suspect it's the same with albums so Bruno might have actually HURT his album sales by performing an album track no one's heard of.
