not one of those songs is Halloween. Weird.

Given that 'Hallowe'en' is not a recognised genre I disagree... the only real criteria is that it's 'spooky' and most of those are/could be. For instance lyrically Janet's song is pretty creepy so I can see how it qualifies. Only Craig, Johnny and Frankie don't have songs which are in the slightest bit suitable for the theme. I hope another judge pulls Gary up on that given how much he HARPED ON about Tulisa's choices last week.

TENUOUS AS EVER. Half of those have literally NOTHING to do with Halloween. Craig's choice is laughable, as is Frankie's. Janet's I can kind of understand as the song is about a stalker but not really.

Yes, I wasn't sure who did it originally but Wiki says Cher first, I did say 'also made famous by Nancy Sinatra', by which I meant her version is more famous (very much so, though admittedly that wasn't clear).

The Halloween theme is probably more an excuse to dress the stage/dancers in a spooky way rather than the songs being halloween ones.

Boring performance. I bet MJ - in the hell - didn't like this version. Really can't see why they are one of the favourites to win this competition.

The Risk - That was pretty solid, but I preferred Aiden's performance of it last year because it was more interesting.

What a BIZARRE performance. It was really just lacking in atmosphere. Weird arrangement. 5/10.
