Silly bitch should have capitalised on her Glastonbury performance more and released a video for 'End Of Time' after BTINH started to fall. Still WAITING for that video. It deserves to smash. (Well, so did 'Countdown', but I think EOT's performances will be better)

One Direction's new song is awful, but girl teenagers will download it like mad, therefore I expect it will get to number one. The Collective has not had much airplay and the song is also bad... the release date for it on iTunes is the 14th! Therefore it will be released on iTunes on Monday? Obviously this will be bias but I think My Heart Takes Over is the best song but judging by how competitive next week will be i think they will chart around #7-10 next week. Flo Rida I think will chart top 5, I hear Good Feeling everywhere. At Least Maroon 5 will drop out of the top 10 next week.
Yes, YOU will forget about Countdown, etc. by March 2012, but millions of people will still remember them by then, and for years to come.

I agree that Beyonce won't get any more top 10 hits from the album though. Don't get me wrong, I think she has lots of great songs, but they're just not what the public are liking at the moment. Similar with What Do You Take Me For. Great song, but not what the public want, so it won't sell well. The public want things like Party Rock Anthem, Mr. Saxobeat, Sweat, Don't Wanna Go Home, Give Me Everything, etc. atm, and Beyonce has nothing like this on her album.

Surely if the public 'wanted' songs like that in the top 10, then you'd use recent examples and not loads of songs all from the first half of the year? The second half of the year has been much more varied than the first half and there is no dominant sound in the top 10 anymore, you're talking rubbish.

To be fair, I definitely agree that the 2nd half of the year has been much more varied than the first half.

Trust me though, there's no way Beyonce is getting another top 10 hit from her album. Which other songs from her album do you think the public will buy?

I'm expecting Snow Patrol's newie to flop in at like #33, which is a shame as it's another very good song from them (finally heard it the other day) :( Their album with any luck should be #1 though, I did think JLS would be heading there but I'm not so sure any more.

At least I'll have a good birthday #1 on one of the charts

Best case possible scenario is Snow Patrol getting the #1 album and both The Collective and One Direction missing #1 with We Found Love spending a 5th week there (I would say Labrinth climbing to #1 but that obviously won't happen). Rihanna was my birthday #1 single last year but I don't like Only Girl (In The World). I'd be happy with the #1 album being JLS as well as I've liked both of the singles so far.

Drake's album is released on Monday so I'd expect the title track featuring Rihanna (yes, her again) to possibly chart at least top 100 on cherrypicks.

You are probably correct that Beyonce won't get another top 10 hit from 4 but that won't be down to lack of quality singles - it would be down to her pregnancy and therefore lack of promotion.

'End of Time' could definitely smash if Beyonce was given an X Factor performance and the video was released.

One Direction #1

The Collective #2

Rihanna #5 (assuming it is released)

Flo Rida #6 (possibly climbing the following week)

The Saturdays #9

Westlife #13 (would be so apt!!! :heehee: )

I'd say:

01 One Direction

02 The Collective

07 The Saturdays

14 Westlife

19 Flo Rida

I don't think we'll get Rihanna's 'You Da One' personally - but if we do it'll debut inside the T15 - possibly in the #8-12 region if it picks up during the week on word of mouth.

Flo Rida and Westlife have both had their time - not heard 'Good Feeling' once, but in the run up to Christmas generic dance/R&B isn't the right music to release - doesn't fit in. As for Westlife, their last lead single went (10-21-xx) out of the T40 so if anything they'll do worse this time around (especially as their final album is released soon and fans are likely to purchase this).

Don't get me wrong btw. I LOVE her album. I can't describe how much respect I have for her for releasing that album, when 90% of the other RnB artists have decided to become europop singers for the past 12 months. I love Beyonce so much for not doing that (although she did do Radio from I Am Sasha Fierce, but lets FORGET ABOUT THAT ).

I heard there has been a video filmed for End of Time (I could be wrong though). But as you said, it probably won't be promoted very much, other than the video. :( It gets a lot of airplay on urban radio stations like Choice FM though, even though it's just an album track. :D

03. David Guetta / Usher 'Without You'

04. JLS 'Take a Chance On Me'

---

06. LMFAO 'Sexy and I Know It'

07. Professor Green / Emeli Sande 'Read All About It'

08. Maroon 5 / Christina Aguilera 'Moves Like Jagger'

09. Charlene Soraia 'Wherever You Will Go'

---

24. One Direction 'What Makes You Beautiful'

---

48. Katy Perry 'The One That Got Away'

Predictions for new releases:

1 The Collective - Teardrop

90 Drake feat. Rihanna - Take Care

10 Flo Rida - Good Feeling (although I wouldn't be surprised if it enters lower, hopefully it'll be a slow burner and peak later)

73 Iyaz feat. Travie McCoy - Pretty Girls (I've heard it on Capital a few times so I don't think it'll flop COMPLETELY)

2 One Direction - Gotta Be You

6 The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over

33 Snow Patrol - This Isn't Everything You Are (as above)

9 Westlife - Lighthouse (it'd be hilarious if it misses the top 10 but I think it will get there)

And if it's released I predict #6 for Rihanna's 'You Da One' (obviously knocking the rest down a place).

Maroon 5 climbing again :banghead:

01 The Collective

03 One Direction

05 The Saturdays

08 Flo Rida

15 Westlife

(if we get You Da One, I imagine it will debut at something like 6/7)

HA, Flo Rida releasing the same week as The Saturdays again, my guess Flo Rida will finish ahead of the Saturdays. :D
I must admit I haven't heard a lot of that Collective release at all except a few times on the radio, I think it has a good chance of number 1 though what with the Children In Need concert on Thursday
One Direction will get another No 1 for sure next week. The Collective song has got to be one of the worst this year, even worse than anything by LMFAO. I hope the Sats can at least manage Top 5, Riri will easily go Top 3 if she releases next week.

I'm guessing...

01 One Direction

02 The Collective

06 The Saturdays / Rihanna (if released)

09 Westlife

12 Flo Rida

Btw, am I the only one having mixed feelings about the new Katy Perry video? On one hand, it is a brilliant concept but, on the other, the storyline doesn't fit the lyrics at all.

I think Good Feeling could end up doing a 'Moves Like Jagger' but on a smaller scale. It's not getting much airplay right now is it? I think it will début relatively high and radio will pick it up then.
Ugh! I hate that Children in need single. I hope One Direction are number 1 next week

Normally I'm no fan of charity singles, but if it can thwart 'wand erection', I will be ROFLMAO!

You do realise that The Collective is mostly UK Urban acts like Wretch 32,Tinchy,Chipmunk,Tulisa,Ms Dynamite,Labrinth. This would be a miracle if you download it. :P
