Posted November 13, 201113 yr This episode will be Sam's return and the sectionals episode this season. Episode title seems to be confirmed but I don't know what it's meant to be a reference to. No original songs this time it seems. The songs should be correct as they come from a very reliable source, if you don't want to know what they are get out of this thread/don't look below. - Red Solo Cup - Toby Keith (Sam and New Directions) - Buenos Aires - Evita Cast (Harmony and her glee club's Sectionals performance) - Survivor - Destiny's Child/I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor medley (The Troubletone's Sectionals performance) - ABC - Jackson 5/Control - Janet Jackson/Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson (New Directions' Sectionals performance) - We Are Young - fun (New Directions) MCKINLEY HIGH HOSTS SECTIONALS ON AN ALL-NEW "GLEE" TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, ON FOX GUEST STAR CHORD OVERSTREET RETURNS TO THE GLEE CLUB In an attempt to recruit a few more members, Finn tracks down former teammate Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) and convinces him to come back to the glee club. November 14, 201113 yr He doesn't need to spoiler things anymore. You can't spoiler pictures and they get posted in this thread. I don't see why you'd come in here if you didn't want to know anything about the story/songs... Plus spoiler tags are really annoying if you use them all the time. Looking forward to 'Man In the Mirror'!
November 18, 201113 yr The Troubletones just get better and better! I cannot WAIT to see that performance of 'I Will Survive/Survivor'! :o
November 19, 201113 yr Author Press release added to the first post. There is a fairly big spoiler regarding Sam that I think may have been confirmed by one of the main reliable sources, but it sounds a bit OTT and odd so I'm not convinced. Will put this one in tags; Apparantly he's a stripper.
November 25, 201113 yr Author ywRl3cHyC04 Great once again. Something is a little off (Survivor could do with being a bit faster perhaps) but aside from that it's another really good Glee mash-up and it's not even the full thing. Songs from this week have been released apart from 'F***in' Perfect' which Rolling Stone are putting online on Monday. edit: I think all songs from this ep might have now leaked (in preview form). December 7, 201113 yr Amazing episode loved it although i thought the troubletones were better and a bit unfair as New directions had three songs its was obivous they were gonna win we are young made up for it though that was amazing i do hope though they all get to sing though i prefer it when they all sing
December 7, 201113 yr Author Really good episode, liked that there was plenty of Sam of course and it was really nice how they went back to Mike's story, and Quinn was slightly better by the end, up until now she'd been so unlikeable this season. Regarding ND having three songs, I think we're meant to imagine that they all do, but they wouldn't have time to show three songs from each group. The result was obvious but 'Survivor'/'I Will Survive' was my favourite performance, 'Buenos Aires' & 'Control' just seem boring. 'We Are You' was very good though.
December 7, 201113 yr Brilliant episode, and if it weren't for the Xmas episode, I would be happy for this half of the season to have finished there. 'Buenos Aires' and 'I Will Survive / Survivor' were both very good, and better than all three of New Directions' songs, although I did really like 'ABC'. What happened to Mercedes apparently being a rubbish dancer though? She had the moves! Sam did also, and I hope he's going to be more bearable now than he was towards the end of last season. I really liked how most of New Directions got solos in their performances though, I hope they continue to split them evenly like that as it's nice to hear the unused voices of Quinn, Tina and Mike once in a while. Also - surely the Xmas episode is the last of Rory's 7-episode arc, and as his story isn't going anywhere, I think it's unlikely he'll be brought back next year, which is a shame, as he was initially quite interesting.
December 7, 201113 yr Author It was a minimum 7-episode contract and they could keep him on for longer. Although his story doesn't seem to be going anywhere it seems unfair to drop him now after a "7 episode arc" where we saw him a lot in ONE episode before fading off into the background. At least Harmony got a line this time. Surprised they haven't used or mentioned the other two so far, especially since Alex features on one of the Christmas songs.
