01. Rihanna & Calvin Harris - We Found Love. 100%

02. One Direction - Gotta Be You 78.1%

03. Flo Rida - Good Feeling 59%

Looks like Rihanna will be number 2 in tomorrow's midweek and come friday overcome another boyband. Jls, The Wanted & One Direction should be hating on her.

10. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger 42.6%

11. Lmfao - Sexy & I Know It 38.5%

12. Professor Green - Read All About It 37.6% (Combined 44.8%)

13. The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over 28.5% (Combined 32.6%)

14. Cher Lloyd - With Ur Love 26.6% (Combined 36%)

I wouldn't be surprised to see The Saturdays be in the top 10 tomorrow in the midweeks, however they will start to fall on tuesday as most songs do. It will not go top 10 on iTunes and it's a shame all their promotion is at the end of the week, at the very least they could be doing is having Ustreams, more twitter chats as I do think they will start to gain on Professor Green & Lmfao.

The good thing is that I don't remember 'Ego' or 'Higher' ever reaching top 10 on iTunes (not combined), yet they still got low top 10 peaks, so hopefully this can do that as well!

I simply love that Rihanna is refusing to move from the top. I would LOVE it if she managed to fend off JLS and One Direction two weeks in a row, in her seventh week of release. Brilliant.

AND Saturdays are #14? Good. I am glad they are moving up, even if it is quite slowly.

Surely the chart is these past few months has simply proved the growing irrelevance of big new entries into the chart at no1 with the longevity and massive weekly sales for weeks on end of songs by Rihanna/Calvin Harris and Maroon 5 - even though they werent exactly OA/OS exactly they did have the behaviour of a OA/OS release - Maroon 5 was a big airplay hit on radio 2 which doesnt affect the chart as much as radio 1 so when it charted it was instantly fresh to the public and rihannas record company correctly realised holding back her release until 13/11 would have cost her half a million sales so they released the song 7 weeks early around 2 weeks after its first official play - SURELY RECROD COMPANIES CAN SEE THE WAY FORWARD?!

Can someone explain to me why Jar of Hearts is #7?
Can someone explain to me why Jar of Hearts is #7?

Christina Perri performed the song on Strictly Come Dancing.

I wish Jar of Hearts would go away, it has had it's time!
Can someone explain to me why Jar of Hearts is #7?

Christina Perri was on Strictly last night so assuming it's for that reason.

She could've at least done A Thousand Years  What's the betting Craig sings it (if he gets to the final) again as his 'favourite performance of the series' on X Factor? :P Then it goes top 10 again!

25. Who You Are - Jessie J

30. Marry the Night - Lady GaGa

139. Marry the Night - Lady GaGa

Pleased that these two should see the top 40 next week due to the big X. Hoping they can both, despite the odds, become hits.

I love how people think all the boybands failing to get to #1 in recent weeks is down to the lack of interest in XF.

Firstly, XF's ratings have still been huge for the results show each week.

Secondly, in The Wanted's case, they failed to get to #1 this time last year with an XF performance - which was deemed XF's most successful year yet.

Thirdly, in 1D's case, the song is absolutely abysmal and uninspired. Their debut single managed to get to #1 because it was a good song - this isn't.

Finally, in JLS' case, the ship has sailed. I think their popularity - like with every boyband after a few years - is now in decline. Their fans have moved onto 1D.

I agree for the most part, except the song that The Wanted performed last year wasn't held back. It was a post-album single, so if you look at its chart run you see it climbed the chart, so it was never really going to get #1 unless it was huge, since post-album singles can only really get to #1 if they're genuinely MASSIVE songs.

Also, JLS fans haven't "moved on" to 1 Direction. Well, maybe one or two, but a negligible amount I think.

I agree, if you look at the ratings they are as strong as ever! Once you add the +1 and HD viewing figures to ITV SD you are hitting 12 million viewers every week, with it peaking at 14 some weeks.

The Wanted's song was poor. JLS beyond poor, 1D even beyond poor. Nothing to do with XF.

Finally! Their labels can see now that you can't just record a pile of shit and expect it sell just because of their name and brand.

'Who You Are' could hopefully go top 10 now, as she is performing it on X Factor the week-end after next.
