My ideal, yet realistic top 5 this Sunday would be:

#1: Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love

#2: Flo Rida - Good Feeling

#3: One Direction - Gotta Be You

#4: Labrinth - Earthquake

#5: Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts (doubtful though)

1. Rihanna

2. One Direction

3. Flo Rida

4. Labrinth

5. Ed Sheeran

Oh, I do agree. It's fantastic to see British music flopping!

ignoring the fact that just three weeks ago we had a top 2 made up of four British artists with both songs selling over 100k? :P

That's brilliant, it's just good to see British acts dominating the chart!

If they're British of course I want to see them high in the charts, regardless if I like the song or don't like it. The same applies for One Direction I don't want it to get to number one but I still want it to do well.

I find this mindset most odd. I wish success to British artists if they produce good music. If they don't, I like to see them flop in their arse. But that goes for any nationality. I've no idea why people think acts deserve to do well over just because they're British. You have to deliver the goods too.

Please get back to me when you've worked out how ridiculous that comment is.

Surely you'd determine what songs you'd want to be a success based on their quality, rather than the nationality of the artists? I'm all for the likes of 'Moves Like Jagger', 'We Found Love' and 'Jar Of Hearts' hanging around the top 10 for ages instead of 'My Heart Takes Over', 'What Do You Take Me For?' and 'Gotta Be You' because they are the superior songs - in my opinion of course.

When a British act delivers the goods, I would welcome their songs into the top 10 just like I would with great American/international songs. Likewise, the likes of 'Loca People' can get out of the charts with the likes of Pixie and One Direction's new song.
