I hope that awful rebecca woman flops. Her voice is horrible and she is so fake and dull

Which Rebecca?

Which Rebecca?

Ferguson - what other Rebeccas are there in music at the moment?

Rebecca Black is a queen compared to Ferguson.

25. Don't Let Go (Love) - En Vogue

245. Don't Let Go (Love) - En Vogue

276. Don't Let Go (Love) - En Vogue

Should be almost top 15 surely? So glad its doing well again.

Black? B-)

I repeat, what other Rebeccas are there in music at the moment? :kink:

Maybe he just didn't know of any Rebeccas, since I doubt he follows the X Factor (although if that's the case, a better wording would've been something like "Who is Rebecca?").

Out of curiosity, do we think people are more likely to purchase the originals of songs used on X Factor, or download the contestant's version?

For example, if it were eligible to chart on iTunes, where do we think Little Mix's version of Don't Let Go would be right now?

No, I was just confused as between Black & Ferguson since they've both been mentioned in threads the last couple of days.

You're right in that I don't follow the X-Factor (I presume you're implying Rebecca Ferguson is an X-Factor alumnus?).

:party2: Hopefully it can move up to top 200 :D

I wonder if next Sunday's #1 won't be the same as the midweek #1 for the fourth week running...

Olly could bag the iTunes number one in the next few hours and create a huge lead before Rihanna's XF performance and, along with physicals, DWMT could be #1 in Tuesday's midweeks but Rihanna could overtake Olly on iTunes tonight and get the official number one by Sunday.

4. Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight

19. Down for Whatever - Kelly Rowland (+985)

35. Nothing's Real But Love - Rebecca Ferguson

116. Come On - Will Young (+215+863)

159. Up (feat. Jessie J) - James Morrison (+255)

173. Baby Blue Eyes - Olly Murs

196. Flashing Lights - Sub Focus, Takura Tendayi & Chase & Status

201. I Like How It Feels - Enrique Iglesias

252. Hold On - Last Chance (Radio Edit) - Last Chance

349. Sweet Sweet Melody - Katie Sky

472. Merry Christmas - Bryan Adams

669. Pressure (Alesso Radio Edit) - Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji

EPs on Albums Chart

5. Dance With Me Tonight - EP - Olly Murs

9. Levels - EP - Avicii

18. Down for Whatever (feat. The WAV.s) [Remixes] - EP - Kelly Rowland

71. A Trick or Two (Deluxe Version) - EP - Leddra Chapman

87. Pressure - Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji

205. Flashing Lights (feat. Takura) - EP - Chase & Status & Sub Focus

206. Up (feat. Jessie J) - EP - James Morrison

368. The Future's Not What It Used to Be (Remixes) - EP - The King Blues

Rihanna can't go on selling at the rate she has been, plus if her XF performance is anything like her US XF one it might not boost her much as that was a mess. It's a bad job if Olly can't beat WFL's millionth week in the chart even without a tv boost. Hopefully he gets to perform on XF as number 1! It'll be interesting to see Rihanna's figures for this week...

Yeah, Rebecca Ferguson was on last year's series. She finished in 2nd place, if I remember correctly.

I bet Kelly Rowland wouldn't even be within sniffing distance of the top 100 without The X Factor. Horrible song.

This is the album version, not a new release (as are a couple of the others you posted in that update).

I really hope it can at least go top 100 this week. I thought it'd be doing a bit better than this :( Although I still think they'd be doing even worse if they sticked with releasing 'Fool Yourself' as the new single (although that's a better song).

Enrique's awful new single flopping :D

It's actually vile. It's a shame her record label have such a low opinion of our country's music tastes that they think they have to release it here. :(

I agree. Enrique's song is also dreadful. I hate it. :puke: I was listening to one of his older songs they other day. Be With You, I think it was called. It was another club banger, but it wasn't generic!! It was such a nice song, and puts his recent material to shame. It sounded like a Eurovision song a bit. And it got to #1 in the US too. It's sad he's putting out songs like Dirty Dancer now, when he used to do such nice songs like that.

Physicals made up 1% of HSAB's sales so they aren't doing physicals of DWMT.

Do the songs sold as part of EPs count towards the total as Olly is 5 on the album chart?

Alot of people haven't heard DWMT yet so I don't think DWMT will be as frontloaded as some think, I reckon he'll get steady sales.

Yeah, gets added onto the songs sales at the end of each day.

I listen to Capital often and haven't heard them play DWMT, they still play HSAB often.
