It has been confirmed that

Donna (Marlon's ex)

will be returning! She will start filming next month and will make her first appearance in March! So excited for this, really looking forward to seeing how it pans out / how it affects the story with said involved characters.

LOVED her, so glad she's returning :wub: there's been rumours for ages but I was glad to see it finally official!

recently got back in to it about a year ago- though devistated that cameron left, and amy, who i honestly really liked (both i'm talking about here)

also have 2 of the spin off dvds they did.. the tv movies which are really cool

accidentally kills Gemma during a row, she punches her in the face, and Gemma falls and hits her head and dies. Was not expecting that :-o

This has been great lately but why do soaps get it wrong when it comes to funerals and cremations? I know someone who has investigated the costs of his own funeral. He was told that only wood coffins can go for cremations! Anything else (wicker, card, fabric, whatever) ignites too quickly! Gemma's coffin was not wood.

 

Come to think of it - Corrie made the same error with Hayley's funeral as well!

Emmerdale has been great lately though. I really love the Val/Eric storyline.

how can Belle be

arrested for murder when she didnt mean to kill gemma? surely it should be manslaughter?

Donna's exit from Emmerdale was one of the best soap exits of all time. Brilliantly done and more than a bit unexpected.

 

If only Emmerdale did the ordinary, mundane stories of life half as good as it does the BIG storylines/endings then it would knock CS and EE off the face of the earth as far as soaps are concerned.

This week's episodes have been really tense so far! I've been gripped to Charity and Declan's scenes - I even missed Eastenders yesterday so I could tune into the hour long episode! Tonight's ending made me exclaim aloud, really looking forward to tomorrow's double episode!

charity is their best character, she can't die :(

fortunately tomorrow before declan tries to bury her, charity still shows signs of life and tries to flee from him, but it's been made clear that one of them will die.
