It's looking good for a surprise death or two, so many characters were inside when the helicopter crashed!

A few characters to potentially blame too! Pete for booking the helicopter in the first place, Chrissie for starting the fire and Robert for not signing the contract, so a few potential storylines could go on there if they survive!

It was very well done, a big build-up too! Excited for the rest of the week :D

No soap does big disaster type scenes better than Emmerdale. Mind you - the scenes leading up to it were brilliant. Heck - everything about Emmerdale tonight was brilliant. The best soap by far.

I didn't see it (although I knew there was going to be a Helicopter crash through the papers) I see people are moaning on twitter that it is disrespectful to the people who died in Glasgow. I mean really?
Really good again tonight. Sad to see Ruby go - the actress was underused though in my opinion. Hope to see her in more stuff.
I thought Joanie was going to be the underused character to die and whet our appetite for more! I'm not massively bothered about Ruby as a character but they were some really emotional scenes, I especially loved Kerry (as always). I agree about the actress though, she was great and had more to give.
Good episodes, Ruby wont be missed, very underused, i would like to believe we will have another shock death.
Well I knew Val's was coming (but still devastated) but ROSS :( wtaf. I can't.
I'd predicted both of them actually, I said just a moment before Ross died that I thought Pete would kill him  Val is a huge loss of course even if we knew she was gonna be leaving, she's been GOLD these past few episodes, with comedy moments thrown in amongst the serious side.

You know what? For the weeks running up to this - I couldn't wait to see the back of Val (even though I used to love her at one time) but during tonight's episodes - I just didn't want her to die (even though we all knew she was going).

The demise of Ross was a shock ... has he really gone though?

Did the actor playing Ross quit or was he axed? If axed its a huge mistake as it had so much potential for future storylines. Strong episodes from Emmerdale this week, its the top soap at the moment from a quality and different perspective.

A lot of people on DS are saying Ross is actually alive and will come back (this is just a trick). I wonder if this could be true? I hope so.

I swear if the pretty one is actually dead.....

Who has a full on convo with the object thats about to rip you in half? Bye bitch.

I think it's just Ross fans not wanting to admit to themselves he's actually dead :P
