I like the powerful beat but the vocals are a mess. They sound very messy and pitchy.

I think the chorus will be different on the iTunes version tbh, potentially sounds amazing!

The preview for 'Turn Myself In' sounds a bit disappointing, if I'm honest. :(

They'll be on Alan Carr: Chatty Man this Friday night. Definitely chatting, but I'm unsure if they're performing too. When's "30 Days" out?

It's not out for another three weeks I think, so it's too early to be performing it on TV. Chatty Man would have been great during release week, though.

*sigh*

EDIT - Rebecca Ferguson is promoting 'Glitter and Gold' this Friday on the show.

Tbh, maybe an interview and a clip of the video will be better than just a performance like My Heart Takes Over.

The chorus for Turn Myself In sounds so robotic and lifeless :( I know I shouldn't have listened to the live version so much, it's completely ruined this for me lol.

Can't wait to see them on Alan Carr, no performance as Paul Weller is performing.

Hehe all is getting a bit exciting. :) It's always lovely seeing the girls on Chatty Man. I'm liking Turn Myself In, and considering thats a pretty low quality preview the iTunes version will be far better....least I hope.

30 Days is looking likely of dropping out of the top 100 radio Airplay after peaking at #100 last week.

26/04/2012 260 Airplay Plays (Combined Airplay plays)

Smash Hits Radio - 52Plays (#18th In there Radio Airplay)

TayFm - 14Plays

BBC Radio1 - 7Plays

Uk Television Airplay Update

27. The Saturdays - 30 Days (FFS)

* Not 100% Accurate*

Oh DEAR.

Anyway, I kinda see why there releasing a song now, I think there wanting another top 10 peak to add to their record for going to America as it will look better for them TBH.

I still think this will surprise and be bigger than people are thinking it will be. It's going to be 'All Fired Up', big as opposed to 'Higher'/'Up'/'Ego' big, but that'll still be brilliant for them. Hopefully a slot on The Voice too!
I don't blame radio for ignoring them. They change style with every single release (pop/rock to electro/pop, trance/pop to electro/pop, dance/pop to European/pop to a ballad to dance/pop again) and they haven't had a genuine hit since 'Higher' in late 2010. Their chart runs are becoming shorter and shorter with every release and the material just isn't good enough (My Heart Takes Over followed by 30 Days? When White Lies, Faster and Get Ready Get Set are sitting on the album?). Plus, the OA/OS thing with Notorious was a mess and since then everyone is reluctant to playlist them. They''re going to need to fight to get more airplay, not release cheap generic stuff like 30 Days. This is the band who had a #1 airplay with Missing You only five singles ago!

It's a discussion that's always going to crop up unfortunately. If radio were egnoring them then they wouldn't be inviting them onto their shows etc. The interest is there. Hell, I listened to an interview Cheryl did on Radio 1 yesterday and my God it was boring - the last time she was invited on was a very long time ago.

In the words of Alexandra Burke, let it go.

I think a problem with the girls releasing "dance pop" music is that they just aren't dance enough to be played in clubs. '30 Days' is a dance song but will it be played in clubs (and benefit from weekend effects?). I haven't heard any Sats material at a club/party, besides 'Higher' at my school prom.

Up used to come on all the time when I went out, but it seems to have been taken over by All Fired Up.

It's on every time I go out, without failure.

When Notorious came on I always heard it on in a club, then All Fired Up was always played without Fail. Higher was also always played.

Higher is personally my favourite to dance like a twat too.

I think Radio1 will save this single tbh, they seem to be playing it at least two times daily which is quite good, Chris Moyles seems to love the song, I hope Aled tells the public to download the single also.

Uk Radio Airplay

98. The Saturdays - 30 Days

Uk Television Airplay

24. The Saturdays - 30 Days

Both are climbing from previous updates.

Just seen The Sats on Alan Carr, they were great as always! :D They showed a clip of the 30 Days video too!

I think the issue is with this single, is that it got premiered FARRR to early.

There is usually a month /3 week premier with them but this was 5+ weeks was it not?

Understandably can see why their management opted for a longer period before release, probably to test the waters after the major flop of MHTO, I'm guessing allowing them

to figure out a plan promo wise if Radio didn't take at all.

This si what I like about them at the mo..Consistently trying coming up with inventive ways to promote.

This new scratch and win thing is definitely promoting The Sats as people who don't like The Sats music are talking about winning outfits etc..

I honestl;y think with 2 weeks left until release, a good promo strategy and if radio/ Tv airplay keep increasing I don't see a problem with this going top 5.

It's hanging around the 300-400 position on itunes albums which isn't bad considering it got all the way up to #11.

The exclusive remixes being sent to different outlets is a genuis plan too, making them feel special E.G: Gaydar had played The Sats twice and since having the exclusive

mix on the website this has shot up to 16 plays.

I'm sure we have nothing to worry about as long as this matches 100-180k in sales I really don't see a problem it's obvious most of the income comes from

other sources as opposed to music. Although, I do think they make a fair bit on single releases £4.98 per Cd single sold inc p&p and they usually sell 1-3k's worth,

so in effect they probably make just as much as a standard artist selling 300k+ if not more (single being sold for 99p on itunes/amazon etc).
