So, her 2nd single is being outsold by an album track now? Ouch. I love You Da One, but maybe it wasn't a good choice for the 2nd single. :(

Both tracks are top 30 without any promo, that's what matters...

"You da one" will be all kind of huge I reckon, "Talk that track" early performance is only due to Jay-Z I guess, which is understandable.

Levels is a quality song, has it even had airplay? It's been on my running playlist for a week or two.

In terms of hits, Rihanna's new album isn't a patch on Loud. WFL will be the only big hit IMO. Andfor me it's not anywhere near as good quality wise ether. 2nd single should have been We all want love but the rest aren't up to much. I guess it's hard to maintain quality when you release an album every year. She should have held a hit over from her last album like Cheers or S&M.

TTT is full of hits...

Where have you been will be even bigger than WFL. And Talk That Talk will be pretty big too. I'd say that You Da One can be a good hit too with decent promo and good video. And Roc me Out is another hit too.

We All Want Love = the only song I cant see as a single TBH

You know what, you're half right. On a second listen of the album... Where have you been is actually quite good but it's not that distinctive so there's no way it'd be bigger than WFL, it doesn't have that killer hook. Plus the fact it isn't the 2nd single probably means that her team probably think it's a bit too simlar to WFL anyway. Roc me out could be a hit, not massive but it could do alright. You da one is rubbish, terrible decision to make that 2nd single. Talk that talk is paint by numbers Rihanna. We all want love won't be a single is because of how similar the title is to We found love IMO but it's betetr than You da one.

Are you actually serious. Talk That Talk is a great album. I think its better than Loud. We found love is not even the best song on the album. There are loads of standout tracks and i just think its in the same league as Lady Gagas The Fame Monster

Which considering that "The Fame Monster" was a collection of out-takes and songs that were not good enough for the original album doesn't say much, does it?

Note - I've not heard the new Rihanna album so I can't comment on it's quaility personally.

Its hardly an ouch situation Eric and you knnow it.

For both Talk That Talk and You Da One be top 30 now is incredible! Right now they are both album tracks, and one has Jay-Z on and is the name of the album. :P

Cant believe the Rihanna domination we're seeing right now, amazing!

'Where Have You Been' is the only properly good song on the album for me, and bloody good it is too. I wish she'd cancel the dreadful 'You Da One' and release that in its place. :(

I'm sorry, but what on earth are you on? They weren't out-takes, they were recorded after The Fame's release and showed a lot of progression...

To be honest, I still haven't listened to Rihanna's album, I found WFL very average, it was even more underwhelming than 'Born This Way' (single)! I couldn't even listen 'You Da One' to the end. I know I'll like something on her album but for now I don't have any intentions of listening to it at all.

Olly is 7,000 copies ahead of Rihanna, is that alot? Rihanna sold 66,941 last week and Olly's last single sold 108,000 in it's first week. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'm not sure anything from the album will be as big as WFL. 'Where Have You Been' will be the biggest out of the rest of the tracks though. If released it could be another 600k+ seller for her. I'd love 'Farewell' to be released as the final single from this era. It reminds me so much of my favourite Rihanna song, 'Fire Bomb'. Apparently she was a bit gutted they didn't release 'Fire Bomb' as she loved that song and it was clearly very special for her.

Don't speak about things you don't know about, all of The Fame Monster was written and recorded after The Fame was released.

Most fans and critics also agree that TFM is better as a whole than TF as well. They were not "outtakes"

i think it's a steady lead. rihanna would have to sell approx. 2.000 copies more than him every day now to catch him. So if, let's say Olly does 8.000/day she would need 10.000. That given would mean she needs a 20% lead on itunes. All version of "WFL" put together she is now approx. 10% in front of him. I highly doubt it's possibly to catch Olly until sunday, even though the differnce then may only be 2.000 copies.

So I can relax in the knowledge that Olly will probably be number 1 then? She's 15% behind on the popularity bars, you really think she's sold that many other copies to put her 10% ahead?

Rihanna is less than 6300 behind.

Tbh, I think it will be close but Rihanna is outselling him now on every platform. He sold 17k the first 2 days, if he is selling say 12k today....it means she probably has closed the gap by a 1200 today. And she will keep gaining back the advantage. And we all know what happens when it comes to Friday and Saturday LOL!

I honestly think there is a good chance he will be caught. What is keeping him a float is the number 1 boost tbh and the fact that Rihanna has multiple entries works against her getting that back even though it's in effect putting her in the lead. She needs Olly to crash and get that back, but that'll probably happen LATER LATER (like Friday evening) in the week!
