Well it's only been announced within the last week or so, which could explain the lack of 'buzz' surrounding it.

:lol: Lee i think there isnt any buzz yet because nothings even been confirmed, hopefully find out what it is soon, but i personally think its going to be a xmas EP and i think its for charity (animal rights related as thats leona's passion).

She's also going to be performing on Royal Variety thats been confirmed, she had members of the public submit designs of dresses and she chose the winning one, and thats what she'll be wearing for that. :)

 

I think its a good line up for the final, but OneD and JLS again isnt exciting, not that i have anything against the guys, just been on earlier this year..

 

I really hope Love On Top will be able to break top 10 next week, it may be one of those that peak just outside it though..

JLS will doubt take the oppurtunity to perform their third single - I'd have thought it to crack the top 40 on iTunes already by now, likewise with The Wanted. I think with The Wanted in particular, releasing the music video earlier will be costly - could be the first single to not peak in the top 20.

 

As for One Direction, 'One Thing' is rumoured to be their third single - a cross between 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Gotta Be You'. Not sure how well it'll do in the run-up to the final, but they better get a hurry up with the music video - may as well give up on 'Gotta Be You' for the time being.

The final line-up for XF looks dreadful. One Direction on their third performance, Michael Buble on his fourth, Leona on her fifth, JLS on their sixth. :(

 

I actually think Warzone could miss the top 40 altogether. The music video has been out a while now and it's usually the first week after video release that a song tends to "shoot up" and be in it's peak position.

Songs only really shoot up quickly after their music video if the artist is JLS, One Direction, etc. or Lady Gaga. At least from what I've seen. Other songs can take months to peak, even after the music video is released. It's even happened with big artists like Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, etc. recently.

I think The Wanted made the mistake of rush-releasing the video whilst 'Lightning' was still relevant (although dropping quite quickly on the charts). A few weeks in the top 100 on iTunes will already have depleted inital sales of 'Warzone' - particularly those that have already bought the album/seen the music video in the recent weeks.

 

Perhaps a 'You and I' tactic should be adopted by their management - reduce it to 59p to boost it (although this didn't work for Alexis Jordan).

This is kind of random, but why does Lady Gaga like NEVER have any album tracks in the top 1000 anymore? I remember she used to always have loads cropping up in the top 200, sometimes even making it there officially, but with this album they all disappeared a couple of weeks after the album was released, and then some re-appeared briefly when they were all made 59p.

Assuming you mean 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', it got #22 last year. (This week last year was its peak though - after entering the top 40 it went 22-23-25-31-x). 'Fairytale Of New York' got #17 and that climbed every week to its peak (27-26-19-17-x)
