It says on the release schedule it's getting released today (which would be funny, since it'd be 2 Wiz Khalifa songs on the same day). Whenever it gets released (if ever), I think it'll flop. Probably go low top 100 on iTunes at most because of Bruno Mars.

Free = Snoop Dogg

Isn't T-Pain's album out tommorrow? So even if they don't release it today, people can cherry-pick it from the album (although that effectively ruins any chance of it debuting at #1).

 

Possible entries in the top 40 next week I can think of are James Morrisson, JLS, Avril Lavigne, Rihanna (if she doesn't make it this week), T-Pain, Sway, Lloyd.

Yes it would be stupid if they didn't. They need an EP with the instrumental, and the SPANISH remix of the song (it's on US iTunes :blink:). The instrumental is absolutely GORGEOUS! Such beautiful RnB music. So relaxing and happy. :wub: And I think a lot of people would like it without T-Pain's robot singing. :lol:

 

The only bit in the Spanish version that I understand is "Como te llama". :lol:

As expected. Having now heard this I wouldn't mind it going to #1 although '5 O'Clock' is the better of the two major releases.

 

It still seems odd that a random Young Money/Cash Money US flop is looking like being huge here. I thought the same about Party Rock Anthem (although that had nothing to do with Young Money/Cash Money) but that went on to be even huge-er in the USA but very belatedly so perhaps the same will happen with DTME(MT).

 

I guess it's a good thing André 3000 might finally get that UK #1 he deserves after 'Ms Jackson' and 'Hey Ya!' both missed out :P Would be Lil Wayne's first UK #1 as well. And Lloyd's of course (I didn't even know who he was until 'BedRock').

This is a bit off-topic, but I noticed that quite a few of the biggest hits in the US this year got popular in the UK beforehand (e.g. Firework, Rolling in the Deep, Give Me Everything, Party Rock Anthem, Someone Like You, etc.), even though a lot of those were released in the US earlier.
