So happy to see Tanya Lacey in the top 1000. Since Letter To My Ex is only a buzz single, I wasn't expecting her to even be this 'high'. It's such an amazing song though! :D

 

Like both the Lloyd and T-Pain song aswell.

I watched the video to 'Marry The Night' on VEVO. I have to admit, it got 1 minute into the video and I was getting bored. I kept clicking throughout the 13 minute video just to see the section with the song itself and it starts about 7 minutes into the video!!! :o

 

Even then, once the song finally kicks in the video doesn't really do anything. If it's trying to be the new 'Telephone' then it's failed miserably. The video to 'Telephone' is captivating. The video to 'Marry The Night' just isn't.

 

On a lighter note, go Lloyd!!! :D I really like 'Dedicated To My Ex' and with what appears to be a draught of new releases in January 2012, I reckon Lloyd will capitalise on this and if he does make #1 next Sunday, will probably return to #1 come Sunday 1st January 2012.

Hopefully '5 O'Clock' doesn't output the far superior song that it samples... I wouldn't mind Lloyd being #1 this week, though. I just gave it a listen and it's actually rather good!

Lloyd making good progress, not sure it's heading for #1 just yet although I'm sure there's been #1s that were lower than 17 & 53 at this point.

 

It's almost like we've got Michael Jackson back in the chart :P Where has this MJ-esque voice come from? I'm sure Lloyd sounded nothing like that on BedRock!

 

T-Pain still underperforming but I think this might be because if you search '5 o'clock' or 't-pain 5 o'clock' you only get fake versions :( It does come up (but not as the first result) when searching 'wiz khalifa 5 o'clock' or 'lily allen 5 o'clock' though. iTunes needs to fix this.

Its not trying to be the 'next' anything. It's just a video about Gaga's darkest moment in life, which some are speculating was an abortion or something as well as being dropped by Def Jam :o

 

I personally find it incredible, and it makes a perfect TV edit, as they just start it from the burning car scene.

I was really surprised when I listened to DTME. I was expecting a whole song of rapping but his voice is really shocking (in a what the hell sort of way). Doesn't really scream #1 record to me though it is a quiet week...

Surprisingly nothing new is challenging the top spot yet, if Lloyd gets there its going to be a late charger. I do think the top 5 will shuffle a bit, I just hope XFF does not get a second week, but it seems its heading that way so far.

 

I would have thought Matt Cardle's new track Starlight might get somewhere, I can't see that happening :lol: looks like a flop.

The whole situation with Matt is a bit bizarre, although it is listed as a single, there is (at the minute) no actual 'single mix' it's just the album version and and a couple of single remixes without the single! Not really sure what they're going for there.

Great to see Sway doing well, it would be great to see that go top 40 :D Lloyd screamed number one from first listen, I'm happy for it to have a chance this next week :wub:
