Anyone know why 'I Need You Now' in particular is doing so well off Olly Murs' album? I thought it may be iTunes only but a quick Google seems to dispute that.

^ It seems I Need You Now was performed on the Xtra Factor. Maybe it'll be his 3rd single then.

It seems we're now moving on from female piano ballads to MALE piano ballads! :o

Good to see climbs for Midnight Run... now at 30 and Up now at 49 - guessing due to Heart playing it

JLS could break top 40 soon with DYFWIF

Album version of 'Dance With Me Tonight' up to #37 :D Hadn't realised it was so high.

84. The Fear - Ben Howard

Should get him a third top 100 hit then :D I heard this a few days ago on R1, I really like it. I still don't get where this guy came from though

Heaven, Bre!

(And the support of MTV Rocks, Q and NME)

I mis-read this, and I thought you were saying that Heart were playing Midnight Run. I was like "WHaaaat?"

Relieved to see "Midnight Run" climbing at last. Same can be said for "Who You Are". Glad it's finally getting into the top 10 as it deserves.

It's been a long time since I last saw you post man! :o

And I echo your thoughts about both songs. I was thinking both would miss the top 39 at one point. Especially after the epic Natural Disaster didn't do very well. :(

Fight For You really climbing well, well done Jason Derulo for putting in a naked shower scene in the new video.
Don't know if it has been mentioned by Levels by Avicii has got an official video only put out today, this should help it to hopefully become a big hit

Yeah I saw him perform it on Xtra Factor too. Really liking it :D

Hello again Eric, I gave up on the forum for a while. I've decided to come back to give it another shot.

I was getting nervous watching them hang around the lower numbers for so long, they are my favourite songs from both artists now.

Please stay! :cheer: I hope everybody will be nice to you. :)

Yeah, post-album singles, especially by UK artists, can do ridiculously poorly sometimes. Wretch 32 and Professor Green's songs, both following massive #1s, seem to be not doing well. :(

263. Never Be a Right Time - Professor Green

360. Forgiveness (feat. Etta Bond) - Wretch 32

Both brilliant songs aswell. I really hope they can at least make the top 40.

Aw thank you, I'll try :).

I agree completely, it happens often. Look at Pixie Lott, "All About Tonight" was long running by her standards. Then The excellent 2nd singles bombs out the top 40 after only two weeks. Same with the Saturdays, after having one quite big single their next single flops out after 2 weeks and the album after only 1 week. I think they both are in danger here.

Christina Perri isn't doing very well with her follow up either, she isn't from the UK but I'm surprised after "Jar Of Hearts" and the twilight film that it hasn't got top 20 at least. it's one of the most haunting songs this year IMO.

I like Professor Green's softer sound, I haven't heard the new Wretch 32 one yet.

I still think Christina Perri is doing really well. She SCREAMED one hit wonder. She does seem to have stalled in the 30s for now though so she may still only end up with one big hit.

100. Let Me Clear My Throat (Old School Reunion Remix '96) - DJ Kool

Interesting. Anyone know why this is back? I've checked and it's 99p (and DJ Kool is still alive).

11. Paradise - Coldplay

Still holding up fantastically. I wonder how many top 20 weeks this can rack up despite being ineligible for its first 6 weeks on sale? This week will be its sixth.

Come to think of it, I think Christina Perri's 2nd single DID flop. I'm sure I remember hearing her "follow-up" on Radio 1 a while ago, and it wasn't this song from the Twilight soundtrack, so I guess this is her 3rd single. Not that it makes much difference, but you know.

'Arms' got cancelled AFAIA.

I don't know! :o Only according to Twitter there's been some sort of "DJ Kool Live Party" thing going on. It's a good song though.

Oh yes, Gaga's Marry The Night video comes out on Thursday.

Hopefully it will reach iTunes Top 10 before Sunday and possibly Top 10 on the charts next week?
