Avicii also has a second version top 40 :P

#32 - Avicii

#33 - Rihanna/Calvin

Rihanna also #83 too :P

So basically nothing between them i guess!

Drake Ft Rihanna - Take Care just seems to be exchanging spots from 6-9 on iTunes, but still i think that is good for him, i think it can be a big seller even without a video

Its doing so well, didnt expect it to still be top 10 to be honest. Needs a video out there and be made an official single, will be big in January. I cant see a video being done/released till then anyway.

I think the third official single is supposed to be 'The Motto' featuring Lil Wayne, even though that's just a bonus track. 'Take Care' has been supported by R1 though so it might as well be the single. Or maybe it is the single in the UK.

She's probably not that far ahead combined :P The EP for 'Levels' is #45, probably not adding much but still adding a bit.

Yeah its surely a must Bre, they clearly have a big hit on their hands. Doing so so well! Its B-List on Radio1, but not even top 50 on radio chart! :o

Radio 1 just playlisted it because they saw it at #3 on iTunes I think. Like they did with Someone Like You.

But I guess, with Drake, whatever song he chooses to promote won't matter, since it won't get promoted here anyway. :( It's so good that Take Care has taken off by itself, and that Radio 1 has playlisted it (and other stations are playing it too).

His 3rd single seems to be The Motto with Lil Wayne, and the single version remix will have Tyga on it. So we probably won't get a music video for Take Care for a few months yet.

 3. We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) - Rihanna

 4. Wishing On a Star (feat. JLS & One Direction) - The X Factor Finalists 2011

 5. Levels (Radio Edit) - Avicii

Olly still holding onto #1 even though Flo Rida has been at 0.95 or higher ever since he got back there. Impressive.

LOL BYE

The longevity of WFL is amazing.

I think XFF is only going to get a week at the top, seems a bloodbath next week, between Olly, Flo Rida, (seems both tracks are still doing well) Rihanna could return again, and a possibility Beyonce after her TV special tomorrow surely LOT will give her a bit of a boost, also someone mentioned Lloyd not sure about that one the jury is still out, the XFF track could fall anywhere between 6 to 10 next week, oops... in the official chart.

I'm not sure it'll fall as far as #10. I still remember last year it was #10 on iTunes in its 2nd week but got #1 officially. And also, it'll probably get a slight boost after the X Factor is on.

It would be amazing if Beyonce got a #1. I doubt it though, it's been a long time since we had a climber to #1 I think (although Rihanna technically climbed there for her 2nd run I guess, but that also debuted there). But maybe she will. She might shoot up with the top 10 effect, and for some reason, of which I have no idea, Love On Top has STORMED up the airplay chart this week.

Also, I think T-Pain will be a bigger #1 contender than Lloyd. There's so much love for the T-Pain song (in real life). I really never expected it to get that popular when I first heard it! :o

So I can see the top 10 next week (in no particular order) being X Factor Finalists, Olly Murs, Rihanna, Flo Rida, Avicii, T-Pain, Lloyd, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland. I hope Drake can at least stay top 10 on iTunes, since he needs the top 10 effect more than anybody imo.

I'm suprised Love On Top looks like it could be a top ten hit. I genuinely thought after 'Countdown' flopped that this era was over for her in the UK. Will be weird if her discography for this era goes #11, #3, #35 and then another top ten position. Be sort of like LMFAO with a #1, #38 and #5.

I guess this sort of thing proves at least that the public isn't brainwashed into buying songs from certain artists, and that artists and the record label still need to come up with good songs and promote them well to get big hits.

The new single by Lloyd feat. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne is actually very good and not what I expected when I first listened to it. Think Plan B 'Stay Too Long' with 70s-esque Michael Jackson vocals and you're pretty much there.

Would be pleasantly surprised if it could grab that #1 spot. I do think Rihanna 'WFL' and Flo Rida could very well end up ahead of XFF and Olly Murs next week. Like JakeWild posted, the longevity of 'WFL' is incredible. :D No doubt 'Good Feeling' and possibly to a lesser extent Avicii will continue selling well into early 2012. My gut feeling is that XFF and Olly will be out of the top 10 by the Xmas chart announced on 25th December.

That's because 'Champagne Showers' and 'Countdown' are dreadful and surely even the most die hard fans would admit these two songs are dreadful. I don't exactly like 'Sexy And I Know It' but let's face it, it's a masterpiece compared to 'CS'. At least 'Love On Top' has a tune to it. 'Countdown' is just a bit odd for me, there are elements that work but most of the track is a big mess - too much emphasis on the production and very little on the actual song itself (ie; 'Countdown' is an excellent instrumental).

Completely agree hitstastic, put it well.

Love On Top is undeniably catchy, and is getting great radio/tv support which is ofcourse essential.

Does the T stand for 'Total' by any chance? :w00t:

Countdown is by far the best song on Beyoncé's album and the only one I'd ever choose to listen to (BTINH is inoffensive enough but not something I'd ever sit through voluntarily). Love On Top is just mind-numbingly dull and repetitive.

No, it stands for 'Teddy'.

I really want either Olly Murs or T-Pain to get #1 next week. I haven't heard the Lloyd song yet. Also wouldn't mind Flo Rida or Rihanna getting there. Just hopefully XFF won't hold on with their 2nd week physicals like they did last year. I'm a bit worried that we're heading for a really low sales week it could take advantage of :(

I'm not a die hard fan and I love 'Countdown', deserved to do better than the awful RTW(G). :( Though I do prefer 'Love On Top' & CS is just plain bad, not even good in an ironic sort of way like with S&IKI.
Assuming both the explicit and clean versions are available I guess Lloyd could benefit from that like Cee Lo Green did? There's very little difference between the two versions but that didn't stop both versions of 'F**k You!' going top 10.
