This tbh.

Also musically, whether she does urban music, or her I'm Like a Bird/Broken Strings-type music, she'll flop aswell. Those sounds aren't popular at the moment. Although they might be in a couple of years, since I think the recent surge of popularity in piano ballads will inevitably lead to urban music and that "folksy" music making a comeback. So maybe it's good that she's waiting.

It's such a waste though, when she was one of the biggest females in music at the time to just stop like that. It's like Katy Perry announcing she's not going to release her next album until 2017. :drama:

She released a GH album last year, which completely bombed as did the single from it. It shows that unfortunately interest in her has waned and she's pretty much over, I agree capitalising on Loose about 2 years later would have kept her in the game.

i take it other mtv channels apart from Bliss tv have started playing xmas songs then by their quick rises these past 48 hours? As i said before with a full week before xmas day to accumulate sales this year they could peak higher?!

In regards to the Xmas songs, maybe they are lower than last year because it was this exact time last year when the UK had loads of snow! That could have contributed to the higher Xmas songs :)

I hope the 18-24 Dec chart week will mean the Xmas songs peak higher again. I think any effect that will have will be cancelled out by the diminishing returns of Christmas songs each year though :(

I don't know about the situation with Christmas music - it's a month until Xmas day tomorrow which might get them some more airplay.

Marry The Night must be really close to the top 10

Just looked at popbars, Shes like 3% behind #10

Where is Lady Gaga with 'White Christmas' from her new EP 'A Very Gaga Holiday'?

The EP is currently #11. Will this count to the albums chart?

oh god everytime i read this thread i have to read 'gaga will be top 10 soon'. she has had 2 of the biggest promo slots around and she cant crack a top 10 filled with old songs, the song wouldn't even be top 20 had she not been over promoting.

She needs to release the video now. She's such a visual artist, that a halfway decent video (better than TEOG) could easily get her into the top 5.

#892. With two other versions (Bing Crosby and Michael Buble) in the top 1000

And I presume it would chart as a single since it's only 4 songs.

Gaga videos don't do justice for her anymore ever since the not-so-good video of "Born This Way" came out...

Dog Days Are Over back in the top 100 (reduced to 59p) Further cementing its status as the biggest selling non-top-20 hit ever (or moving it closer if it's not there already).

Top 100 update coming up soon.

Yay for Florence

Also, re: Gaga EP, I'm fairly sure it will be counted as a single given that Bruno Mars' EP It's Better If You Don't Understand charted at 96 one week in the singles chart.

'Marry The Night' is far older than anything in the top 10...
