April 6, 201213 yr "Marilyn Monroe" >>> "Fly" by MILES. Nah. Fly had some of the best verses across the album.

April 6, 201213 yr First rate after at least 3 listens of most tracks: 08.5 Roman Holiday 02.0 Come On A Cone 05.0 I Am Your Leader 04.0 Beez In The Trap 06.5 HOV Lane 02.0 Roman Reloaded 08.0 Champion 08.5 Right By My Side 07.0 Sex In The Lounge 11.0 Starships 08.5 Pound The Alarm 10.0 Whip It 09.0 Automatic 08.5 Beautiful Sinner 10.0 Marilyn Monroe 09.0 Young Forever 08.5 Fire Burns 08.0 Gun Shot 09.0 Stupid Hoe 09.5 Va Va Voom 08.0 Masquerade I feel like the R&B 'section' should last longer (not that you can call it one at only three songs length) - "Gun Shot" and "Stupid Hoe" should definitely be moved up into their respective areas at least. The majority of the Hip Hop section are dire, as expected, although some of them are good until the rappers come in; "Champion" would be much better without Nas and Young Jeezy (the latter especially) - Nicki and Drake are always so good together on their tracks! "Pound the Alarm" is basically "Starships, Part II", but it's a fun song anyway. I prefer "Whip It" over it though. It would be a very good album if it were just tracks 1, 5 and 7-22, but then maybe it wouldn't be a Nicki album. Who knows?
April 6, 201213 yr I seem to be the only one who is really enjoying 'Hov Lane', its probably my favourite out of the hip-hop tracks at the beginning, although then again, they are all so awful, it may be the best of a bad bunch.
April 6, 201213 yr Unfortunately, all the rap and R&B tracks seem to merge into 1. Still love the pop tracks though! :D
April 6, 201213 yr Am I the only one who loves 'Come On A Cone', its hilarious! DICK IN YO FAAAAACE. I love it to. I love it when she just stops rapping and the instrumental also goes off and she just starting singing Dick on your face.
April 6, 201213 yr I'm going through phases with this album. I'm enjoying it all, but everytime I listen to it, I start warming to one song. First it was 'Pound The Alarm', then 'Beez In the Trap' and then 'Young Forever'. But at the moment it's 'Automatic'! It's all so good. Usually I'm not usually a massive fan of albums that are 19-22 tracks in length, but this one doesn't seem to drag and seems perfect in it's length. I think it's because she covers all her main fanbases to some extent.
April 6, 201213 yr My favourites after 5 listens are Starships, Roman Holiday, Pound The Alarm, Beautiful Sinner, Marylin Monroe & Right By My Side, but the majority are at least listenable and this is likely to change as I listen to it more and more. I do feel as though it is more of a Pink Friday part 2 than a new album in its own right (I don't know if this was the intention or not?). PF had Eminem, Rihanna, will.i.am & Kanye West whereas the biggest name on RR is probably Chris Brown, and half of them I have never even heard of. On the whole though I do think it is a good album, if not quite as good as Pink Friday. I only bought the standard version, is it worth buying the 2 deluxe tracks from iTunes? Va Va Voom's one of the best in my opinion!
April 6, 201213 yr Yes, Va Va Voom & Masquerade are better than some of the tracks on the main album. Definetly worth downloading imo.
April 6, 201213 yr 'masquerade' has grown on me so much over the last couple of days, I'd probably give it a 10 now. really nice and uplifting, a break from all of the in-your-face tracks.
April 6, 201213 yr Have gone from 'Va Va Voom' to 'Automatic' Both HAVE to be singles. Amazing album. Loving 'Beautiful Sinner' now too!
April 7, 201213 yr EmZvOhHF85I Didn't even know she had done a video for this one. When are we getting Starships video? :(
April 7, 201213 yr That performance on the Today show is absolutely crazy! LOL. I love how she's just so calm one minute and before she performs she just jumps into "character" I wish she didn't use too much backing though, because from the bits I could make out she was actually rather good and capable of doing live vocals! Please say it's not the 'Beez In the Trap' video that was supposed to premiere on her website today? :( I NEED the 'Starships' video GODDAMNIT!
April 7, 201213 yr The video doesn't really help anything really. 'Beez In The Trap' isn't 'Stupid Hoe' awful, but it is just so boring and a chore to get through the whole thing.
April 7, 201213 yr Simple video but I like it and she looks SMOKIN. Just hurry the f*** up with the Starships vid though!
