To be fair their album has never left the top 100 since its release 36 weeks ago and is one of the top 5 selling debuts of the year, I don't think it's about chances but it's the 6th single from the album, if it's being released as a AA side with another song why on earth is that not the one being promoted? I suppose it's no different to Katy Perry, her 6th single is A-listed.

It dropped out of the top 100 last week.

You can hardly compare their success with Katy Perry's, even on the album front. Comparing them to similar bands, they are probably doing better, but with such backup from R1 it would be unacceptable if they didnt - the question is, would other bands be doing a lot better had they the same support?

I also think 6th singles shouldn't be getting such a huge support, B-list at most should suffice. I dont think 10 years ago they A-listed 5th or 6th singles even from big artists. But in the download age where singles are rush released, some are official others arent, it gets really confusing.

I wasn't comparing success, I was merely stating that they've now A-listed 6 singles by Katy Perry, whilst this is the 6th single for the Vaccines, they've definitely not all been A-listed, so I suppose it's not that big an issue. It's hard to say really, The Vaccines have sold about as much as I think an act of that type can realistically hope for at the moment, they came about five years too late. They're better than a lot of similar bands that were around 4-5 years ago when the term landfill was around, but they certainly aren't strong enough to be able to take that sound back up a level.

it's weird how all these names every year sound so weird but later once the acts have become famous the names are like completely normal!:D
Yes at Alexandra Stan! 'Mr Saxobeat' is horrifically overrated/overplayed/annoying, but this seems to be the superior version of that song. It's far less annoying.
