Really? I was under the understanding it broke up because of Minzy?

YG has stated that he was too concerned about Bom's health for them to continue, hence disbanding them and not re-signing Bom with a solo contract.

 

I honestly don't understand the hate CL gets - it's not her fault in the slightest that YGE choose to promote her much more than the other members. Also, I'm not being funny but if Bom is really having problems with her mental health, adding that to the fact that both her and Dara are in their 30's, Bom isn't particularly liked by many in Korea because of her 'drug' scandal, and the fact that Dara isn't extremely gifted, vocally... CL is just the obvious superstar. She sings, dances, raps, writes, produces, and then she's also very accessible and not to mention fluent in English.

 

Anyway, Goodbye is fantastic and I'm sad that this will be the last effort from 2NE1 for - potentially - a very long time.
