Do you still listen to everything you bought last year? Or the year before that?

I do really like it, it's not something I'll listen to all the time, but maybe on a quiet sunday night by the fire it might get a spin, but then I listen to jazz and celtic stuff - not just whats naturally in the charts

Well no, obviously.

It's nice that you actually like it though. Not singling anyone out, but a helluva lot of people will buy it just to support the charity, and that's what I don't like about it.

Just heard "Forever Yours" - it's not bad actually, it's a decent song - thought at first it was one of those quirky teenage "Midnight Beast" type songs - thank god it's not! :drama:

The most fascinating thing about this Alex Day song is, that there is no EP with all versions available. Every version is available as a sinlge of its own. So to get the 9 versions available you have to spend £7.11. While an EP normally costs no more than £2.49. Some of his fans really seem to be crazy to get this to the top.

Oh my God! I was about to say "what is this Alex Day rubbish?" and then someone said YouTube and it clicked. Wow, I had no idea he had that much of a fanbase to get it that high! Crazy. I remember watching that video ages ago.

Also the Xmas smileys are fantastic. :cheer:

At the same time I imagine a lot of people buying Cannonball will be doing so because they like Little Mix and have been voting for them, rather than liking that song in particular, the same as every year. The general consensus seems to be that it's far from them at their strongest and if it's what they'd have been singing all along they'd never have won anyway.

Which is why you should all buy Nirvana. A true classic.

I suggest we all buy Untouchable and get that to #1. Good idea? Good idea.

Oh come ON, how many times do we need to try getting 'Untouchable' back? There was already a campaign to get it into the top-10 and after it 'Untouchable' was placed at... #147 or something.

The only chance of 'Untouchable' getting into the top-10 is the using of it on the X-Factor or something like that.

Finally heard the Alex Day track on YouTube and I loved it.

I'd prefer to see him at Xmas number 1 than that monstrosity that is number 1 on iTunes atm.

But the above also means it should be very very very front-loaded...

That Alex Day song is absolutely atrocious

This whole getting stupid shit to #01 thing IS NOT FUNNY.

There will never be too many attempts to get Untouchable top 10! In 50 years time all the ancient GA stans will still be trying. I'd love to see an attempt get it to #11. That would be amazing.

Surely you're used to it by now - it happens almost every week of the year...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Girls Aloud will never get another #1... Although I would like them to tbh.

It would be amazing if Little Mix could be as big this decade as Girls Aloud were last decade. I doubt it'll happen though.

EVERYONE DOWNLOAD VANILLA!

Alex Day is #47 on US iTunes :w00t: :w00t:

 :cheer: :yahoo:
