This album's growing on me. Still not "great by P!nk's standards" but it's still good enough (I'd buy it if it was in the 2 for £10 or £15 offers or something)

 

4 CLEAR standouts for me though.

 

01. 'The Great Escape'

02. 'Is This Thing On?'

03. 'Just Give Me A Reason'

04. 'Run'

 

But the rest is good. It's growing, anyway! :D

'Try This' is amazing!! :angry: This has nothing on that album.

 

 

Thank you! Why does everyone think Try This is a disappointment? It's her only album with no fillers, imo!

 

 

Oh PLEASE. After M!ssundaztood it sounded dire. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great tracks, but it's by far her worst for me. I never actually liked Trouble as a single, either! Last To Know, Oh My God, and Catch Me While I'm Sleeping are the only ones I listen to regularly. Everything else on that album is good but forgetful! :(

Are We All We Are grates on me for some reason :( Try and Run are probably my favourites so far ^_^

I bought the album this afternoon. I've given it a spin and not a lot stands out on first listen, but I have no doubt I'll grow. I do have to say that 'Try' is a little bit special though! It's by far my favourite thing so far and I love Blow Me (One Last Kiss) - I'd go as far as saying it is one of my favourite songs of the year and it's a really good cover! I also like Are We All We Are and the collaboration with Nate Ruess too on first listen!

Hmm, this is nowhere near the standard of Funhouse or I'm Not Dead, but its still a strong album. The uptempos are getting more love from me than

the ballads. $l*t Like You being my fave.

The album is continuing to grow on me, which im happy about!

I bought the deluxe edition. The four tracks on CD2 are great. First CD is very mixed. Some good tracks, some not so good.

'Just Give Me A Reason' being so high is lovely to see. :wub:

Love Just Give Me A Reason, Is This Thing On & Run :wub:, hopefully JGMAR gets a single release over here.

It's smashing on US iTunes. I can't see it not being a single at some point (unless there are label issues etc...).

#2 in the UK with 79k sold - impressive :D Wished she could have got #1 but in the dire sales climate, those are FANTASTIC sales!

listened to this album twice so far - on first listen it seemed alright, but only a couple of tracks stood out to me. although on second listen a lot of them began to grow. :D it was never going to be as brilliant as 'funhouse', although it's still a pretty good album.

favourites so far are 'just give me a reason', 'true love', 'walk of shame', 'how come you're not here' and most of all 'try', so happy that's the next single. it's beautiful. :wub:

I've had the album stuck on repeat since the first listen, with a few Butch Walker songs thrown in the middle too :P

My mum called me up today and asked if I will buy her the album for Christmas so she can learn the words in time for tour. I think my mum officially rocks now :D
