Welcome to my EOY countdown!

In my countdown I have only included songs that were given a release (whether it was a UK release or elsewhere) and/or was just a buzz single, that made my personal chart. So no album tracks have made this countdown.

Dunno what else to write in here. So please feel free to speculate on what you think will make the top 100 and which song will be joining..

2007: Alicia Keys 'No One'

2008: The Script 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'

2009: Keri Hilson feat. Ne-Yo & Kanye West 'Knock You Down'

2010: The Saturdays feat. Flo-Rida 'Higher'

...as my EOY #1 Single?

And which ALBUM will be joining

2007: Britney Spears 'Blackout'

2008: The Script 'The Script'

2009: Keri Hilson 'In A Perfect World...'

2010: Jason DeRülo 'Jason DeRülo'

...as my EOY #1 Album?

I'm quite interested to see the number 1 album, it could be one of a few I think.

I think I can guess the single though :P

UGH. Just ask Gooddelta, my EOY chart may not be how it would seem! Aha. The number 1 album is so TIGHT. I changed it a few times.

Higher was the best song of 2010. Fact.
PREACH IT SISTAH.

100. Rizzle Kicks - Down With the Trumpets [20-15-13-11-10-18-37] - 7 Weeks

Starting us off in this sector is a Eurovision song. It never actually made the final for Eurovision and lost out to NF winner Anna Rossinelli. Really should have been this. It's fantastic. Had it made the final and had a proper music video and stuff, I can't see why it wouldn't be higher in my EOY chart. Beyoyo gets her first of two entries here, with the latest single, 'Countdown'. David Guetta and Usher stall at number 93 with Willow Smith's floptastic single (despite it being HEAPS better than anything else she's done! :() '21st Century Girl' also reaching the EOY 100. Mel C's "official" comeback single 'Think About It' (which isn't too far from the sound that Katy Perry, P!nk, Kelly C etc... tried and succeeded with) enters at a respectable #195. Buzz single 'Rock Me' limped at #124 in this chart. Noah and The Whale's second single from 3rd studio album, 'Last Night On Earth' enters at #96. They have one more entry inside the top 100. Marina's comeback single 'Radioactive' limps inside here, it's a good song, it just got a bit boring too quickly. The first of about 9 BJSC entries is in at #98. She looks like she could be related to Jessie J. What a cracking song though. Sean Paul enlists the help of Alexis Jordan for his comeback single, 'Got 2 Luv U'. Which took a while to grow on me, but it didn't stick with me very long. Rizzle Kicks debut single, 'Down With the Trumpets' holds up the bottom end of this chart at #100.

Hi Jon :P

092. Beyoncé - Countdown [27-21-18-19-30] - 5 Weeks Not a great fan of this TBH but it would've looked stupid having just liking 1 song so far

100. Rizzle Kicks - Down With the Trumpets [20-15-13-11-10-18-37] - 7 Weeks

Hopefully lots of great songs to come.

One of my favourite EOY charts, partly because I know it will be amazing and partly because I love how it always bares little correlation to your weekly charts and is always a bit unpredictable. For example I wasn't really expecting to see Red Hot in the top 100 - elated that it is though

For the first time in ages I'm not sure who the #1 single/album will be...Mr Know It All seems too safe and obvious a prediction and I don't think it will quite be that, Super Bass maybe, or a Jessie/Britney song? Femme Fatale vs. Stronger vs. Who You Are for the #1 album...

You should give the song I put in that post a listen, Rob. I think you'd like it! :o Well this is an EOY chart, so it DOES get better with each post haha.

Rich. Thank you for introducing that song to me. It really is a great song. I think you have another entry or two to come! :o - Any speculations on which you think it could be? :P

(P.s. you missed out one vital contender in the album chart! That is ALL I am saying though :P)

Mel C wins the most underrated comeback of 2011 :( The Sea is magnificent.
Liking all of those, except Without You :P Sarah Burgess in particular, I have no idea how that didn't win it's national final

090. Dr. Dre feat. Eminem & Skylar Grey - I Need A Doctor [15-16-14-19-25-34] - 6 Weeks

In this part of my countdown we see the first entries for Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars. (Both of who still have songs to come!) Chris Brown's comeback single, which rips off Calvin Harris' 'I'm Not Alone' (which reached #023 in my EOY chart in 2009) enters at 83. United States of Jack entry into the BJSC, Fefe Dobson makes it to 84. The first number 1 in my countdown comes from Avril Lavigne. She limps in at a weak #85 as it wore out pretty quick on me. Still a decent enough song though. She has an entry still to come. The guy who got my EOY Album #001 last year has his latest single the highest of his 3 hits here. Jason DeRülo 'Fight For You' enters the countdown at a very disappointing #86. The whole era was a massive comedown from his fantastic debut era. Lady GaGa's first of just 2 entries (despite having 5 singles released!!) inside my top 100! Another disappointing era from the lady who is supposed to be the new "Queen of Pop". Lupe Fiasco's rather good comeback single (which flopped ridiculously here!) is at #88. Parade's first entry is at number 89, they have another entry a little later on and Dr. Dre enlists help from his best mate, Eminem and star of collaborations Skylar Grey to get a #90 EOY position.

Stuttering  Her best song ever!

080. Jennifer Lopez feat. Lil Wayne - I'm Into You [14-10-8-11-20-31-X(5)-20-40] - 8 Weeks

This section sees another EOY top 100 entry for punk band, The King Blues. The 3rd single from their 3rd album 'Punk & Poetry' enters at #71. The first of my own BJSC entries to enter this year comes from Kat Graham, with her ridiculously infectious single, 'I Want It All'. Pitbull's first single from the 'planet Pit' era enters next. My most recent BJSC entry (which finished 2nd! - :D) is at #74. Another Rontvian entry and the winner of BJSC 32 (?) 'The Last Time' by Sheelah is at #75. I forget just how much I love this track until I play it. So, so good! (better than 'Psycho'!) Pixie's comeback smash 'All ABout Tonight' stalls at an abysmal #76. It got old, fast. The first of about 4 official Eurovision entries comes from Swede, Eric Saade with his infectious pop hit, 'Popular'. Katy Perry's 5th single from her 2nd album is at #78, despite having on of the best music videos of 2011 for me. You Me At Six and Chiddy Bang team up on the fantastic 'Rescue Me' and manage to get to number 79! Jennifer Lopez's first of 3 entries is at #80. I preferred it to OTF at the time, but it got older, faster and songs like 'What's My Name?' and 'Right There' do that sound so much better, imo.

SHEELAH

Much love for I'm Into You as well, I thought I'd tire of it but I love it even more as time has passed!
