Here's the basic stuff before you start voting. Please do take note of each of these "rules"… we don't want any confusion! :D Also, everything has been put through Random.org. Please remember, I'm hosting the first semifinal. Phil (Silas) is hosting the second semifinal.

So, for this semi:
1] Send your votes to me, Cal.
2] The points system used for the semi will be the Eurovision System (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) The ten songs with the highest amount of points will advance to the Grand Finale, which will be hosted by Ashton!
3] You can only vote in TBO if you have participated in at least one contest within this decade [XXXI - XL]
4] You must vote in every semi that you are in, and it is strongly encouraged that you vote in them all. So, if you have one song in this semi and two in the second semi, then you must vote in both.
5] You may not vote for your own entries. If any of you do, I will kill you.
6] Winning tracks have already qualified for the final.

This Semi is SO much weaker than the other, it's unbelievable. :mellow:

For me, it's not too bad. But there were a few excellent songs that didn't get nominated, which is heartbreaking. :(

I would be DEVASTATED if two of my entries fail to make it out of this weak semi (one I could handle though, barely).

 

Silas' Semi will be a proper BLOODBATH. And The Weeknd with Idool will be right in the centre. :cry:

10 songs qualify from each semi, so we'll have a final of 30 (the ten winners have already qualified) :) I'll add that to the original post now!

Well, Cady has a bit more of a chance than in the other semi. I say chance to come 20th out of 28 rather than any lower though. :lol:

 

Will be voting later today or tomorrow I think.

Ein, Jag Kommer and Om Sanningen Ska Fram all sound REALLY GOOD all of a sudden (I must be having a foreign morning?!).

Voted. Based on how easily I narrowed it down to a top 10 in semi 1, semi 2 is obviously going to be a NIGHTMARE!

I just imagined myself finishing 11th, 12th and 13th. Hand automatically started reaching for a RAZOR BLADE.

I'm hoping that I'll get at least one entry through ^_^ It's gonna be tough though! :o

Some songs got through even though they finished low Top 15 in actual contests, and some runners-up never even made it. I doubt your initial position in BJSC actually matters now.

The only reason I can think of is that it got successful and stood out to those reviewing XXXIV, also Sabi coming top 3 a few contests later will have helped it. (I'm quite surprised it failed initally actually)

 

Anyway, I take back what I said earlier, this is a really strong semi. My favourites are mostly in here... There are a few terrible songs, *cough* The Irrepressibles *cough* (sorry Pav, I know the feeling's mutual re: Cady) but otherwise, I'm going to have trouble assigning my lower points, my upper 3 or 4 are already decided I think.

Sent my votes, found it fairly easy to narrow down.
