The Pogues nearly with 2 entries top 30 again, mariah up to 25 again and chris rea shooting up to 33 as the big xmas drive home begins lol. Slade, wizzard and wham nearing the top 40 again. Should get a few of them in the chart on Sunday!

The Pogues do have 2 versions top 30 now - at #20 and #30. They also have a third version at #216. Mariah is at #25, #69 and #286 (all 3 versions below respective Pogues versions :D) - the Extra Festive version has really plummeted :o

As well as Chris Rea now up to #31, Stacey Solomon's version is up to another new peak of #19. Hopefully it will stay top 20 with this late boost :D

You Da One video has premiered, so expect it to climb. I find the song incredibly weak personally, but there's no stopping Rihanna right now. Is it still discounted, if so it could shoot into the top 10 :o

Does YDO's massive underperformance so far not count as 'stopping Rihanna'?

And the less said about the Bieber version, the better!

I dare say The Pogues are T10 combined, now.

I'd think it was much more her mediocre album sales that were 'stopping her' if anything. And YDO might have underperformed so far, but while it was WFL was still on top of the charts for goodness knows how long!

They aren't.

'Mediocre'? They haven't been THAT bad :P Maybe in the USA but she's never been a big albums act there.

I love You Da One, so I really hope it goes top 10. It's a shame it hasn't done better so far, and probably wouldn't even be top 40 if it wasn't 59p. I think a lot of people simply don't like the song (I guess too much syncopation for the GBP ).

That said, What's My Name? also flopped everywhere in the world except the UK and US. Rihanna will surely have two more hits next year at least though, so I'm not too worried. She's had lots of songs flop/underperform before.

But I remember many of us on here thought it would go straight into the top 10/20 when the album was released.

If I'm reading the figures correctly, Rihanna has sold more albums in the UK this year than any other artist except Adele

TTT is going to double platinum (already certified btw) when this weeks sales are added. Hardly under performing. Now in the US they *are* shameful/embarrassing. I don't see it selling more than Loud in total, love to be wrong though.

You Da One is nowhere near as good as the, never old and one of the best #1s of the year, We Found Love. :D Not a fan of You Da one, and the video is okay, nothing special. But obviously it'll do well. I'm just waiting for Where Have You Been to be released.

Love On Top is doing so well, still #16, and hopefully could go top 10 come January with xmas songs falling out? But then with gift cards we may be getting older songs coming back up so we'll see.

Who You Are still doing really well at #22, and Domino is on the way up at #44. Unfortunately Up is down to #40 so may still miss top 40, even if it just went in at #40 its better then missing it completely. Warzone should definitely make top 40 now at #27.

With the music video out - we'll see how 'You Da One' truly fares - it's been released at a good time actually, by the time airplay picks up the Christmas songs will have dropped, so Lou Monte, Alex Day, Nirvanna, Stacey Solomon, Mariah Carey and The Pogues (7) mean that Rihanna could potentially jump to just outside the top 10 next week - the 59p reduction may push it even further too.

Also, I've just discovered StooShe, one of the Sound of 2012 nominees. A 3-piece girl group that are basically a better, more urban version of Little Mix. If they manage to reach the shortlist, they could well beat Little Mix to claim 'girl band of 2012' status - especially with a Travie McCoy collaboration scheduled for March.

What's My Name had the X Factor performance. Hopefully she moves on to the 3rd single

In terms of urban girl groups, hopefully Interscope can stop spending money on Party Rock Anthem and Lady Gaga, and get round to promoting the new Pussycat Dolls line-up and 2NE1, since I think they'd be big, if their label can take a little risk and promote them both.

Yeah, I think she should've performed You Da One on the X Factor. I thought it was so pointless that she performed an already massive hit on X Factor. WFL didn't need anymore promoting, let's be honest. You Da One needs all that it can get.

Seeing how fast Rihanna is pumping out hits these days we'll probably get singles 3, 4 and 5 by March and then another album in April :D

I think 2NE1 will be MASSIVE. Well they better bloody had anyway, this is one of the best songs I've heard all year:

They only have one English track atm but they sound perfectly fine and the whole album (and their EPs) are very Western sounding anyway. Plus Will.I.AM is on board so it'll likely go well.

StooShe! :D I really hope they will become huge in the new year.

That song is so catchy and epic!! Something like that would definitely be a hit. It just needs to get played on the radio really.

Yeah, they're signed to will.i.am's label. Although, so is Natalia Kills, and it's not exactly going well for her. But we'll see. I hope they do well.
