I think Maroon 5 are top 10 when combined. Nice to see them back in.

Also, it's good to see Party Rock Anthem rising. Should hopefully pass the million mark fairly soon.

I reckon "Up" will rise a bit more in the next couple of days since James Morrison & Jessie J are on Jools Holland tomorrow night. Having said that the Strictly performance didn't do much for them..
'Fix You' back in the top 100 again as well (#96) :D I assume it and Viva La Vida must be in some way benefiting from the gift card effect, which is odd considering how old they are. I guess Coldplay have just had a lot of exposure recently.
Do You Feel What I Feel, Titanium and What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) all need to climb into the top 10

DYFWIF is absolutely cringeworthy and WDKY(S) doesn't do Kelly Clarkson's voice and artistry justice at all. I'd prefer them to stay away from the top 40 altogether.

Classics of the 00's, that's the real reason.

Military Wives are clean out of the top 20

Thank f***.

Not really, as good as they are it is due to huge amount of exposure they have had lately (as Bray said).

See this is why novelty songs like this are even worse than x factor winners singles. MWC probably out of the top 40 by tomorrow evening.

Hopefully the rumoured Military Wives Choir album will fare better for them in terms of longevity - they'd do well to release it either for Mother's Day or in November 2012 to really jump on the Christmas sales. Here was me thinking it'd be in the top 10 well into 2012 though, but oh well.

17. Jessie J 'Domino'

18. The Wanted 'Warzone'

30. James Morrison featuring Jessie J 'Up'

31. JLS 'Do You Feel What I Feel'

39. Adele 'Rolling in the Deep'

I wouldn't really class it as a 'novelty' song myself :P

Yes really, it was 2 weeks ago... and FY and VLV randomly in the top 300 all the time and jump sometimes,

Coldplay are the biggest group in the world in the past 6-7 years and that's Y, deal with that.

This will probably just end up in an arguement but...

What about the Black Eyed Peas?

Coldplay sell many more albums and tour tickets though, and their songs are on the radio more too (but I'd argue that could just because their songs are more radio friendly, than because they're "bigger").

I'm sorry Griff. It does nothing for me.

I was joking :P

its a big gap between top 300 and top 100, very few songs just re-enter the top 100 by default, because of all the exposure they've had, its obviously given the song an extra boost, I'm a Coldplay loon here too, but you have to be objective here :P

Coldplay will be #1 this week, and they deserve it so as well! I just hope Beyoncé's 'Love on Top' will finally go top 20 officially!
