249. David Guetta - Titanium

I saw a music video for this. Was quite shocked that it wasn't a bunch of really attractive people jumping up and down with their hands in the air like the rest of his videos.

Hopefully Cher's "Want U Back" will start climbing tomorrow after it's video premiere! :D
People can get a Marry The Night remix & the music video for free from iTunes here if they are interested. :D I don't know if there's any kind of aim by doing this, not like it'll count towards sales/chart position.
Looking at wiki Drake is releasing Take Care as his fourth single at the end of February. It will be out of the top 40 before he graces us with a video is my guess.

Drake's really getting ahead of himself here. Got his 4th single release planned, but still hasn't released the music video for the 2nd single. He's lucky his fans are so relaxed about everything. If he had Lady Gaga's fanbase, he'd be literally getting MURDERED for this.

But Take Care is his 3rd UK single I think. And the 4th single in the US (they're getting The Motto 3rd).

If I were his people I'd skip the second one and get 'Take Care' out in January while it has the chance to climb to a new peak. Get him on a few TV shows/ radio interviews and he could be looking at a top 5 and it can take a week of his time.

Single version of Heart Skips A Beat up to #33 :D Also at 52 and 153 - hopefully top 30 again this week and maybe top 20 next week with gift card effect as well?

I can't see Drake doing that, although I would love it if he did!

Although I honestly think it could go top 5 without a music video, since sales will be sooooooo low in January by the looks of things. It just needs radio airplay to pick up quickly (still not in the top 50 on radio yet, I have no idea how it's holding up so well), and then all the Christmas and Girft Card songs to disappear, and then I think it could go top 5.

Its not getting Radio because the single isn't dropping soon enough. As of now its an album track.

Not quite true. Take Care is already B-listed on Radio 1.

It's playlisted by Capital aswell, and getting airplay on most stations where it fits into the type of music they play. Although he might be right, in that they'd probably play it more if it was closer to the release date.

I would like Take Care to be a hit, it's not as good as What's My Name but it's something different to most things in the chart at the moment

Paradise might get another boost, it was used as a theme tune when Mark Cavendish won the BBC1 Sports Personality Of The Year :D

"waits for Bre to comment"

James Morrison & Jessie J hopefully looking at a top 40 hit this week/next week - if the 59p reduction holds and the 'gift card' effect has an impact, it could definitely scrape a week or two inside the top 40 officially - would just add to the impressive 2011 discography for Jessie J: 02-01-09-16-08-48.

59p effect can really be so so effective!

Both warzone and up were looking likely to miss top 40 :o

Titanium has to be huge, its arguably his best song. The video ^ Its very different for Guetta not sure too chuffed with the video but its not too bad. Hopefully is supported just because this song is brilliant!

Domino heading top 40 too, at #42 right now.

Edited by Karma

Looks like "Domino" is going to reach top 40. Hopefully Jessie will film a video for it.

Jessie #41 with 'Domino'. Is there a reason it's climbing? There's no radio backing + no video

It's such a generic song :/
