Tinchy always does relatively well with pre-album releases, although 'Second Chance' and 'Off the Record' both 'flopped' by his standards, despite the names Taio Cruz and Calvin Harris added respectively. Not saying Pixie Lott has much appeal in the current charts, but 2012 is a new year and the fanbases will love it. I'm going to predict top 20 and be on the safe side, but a top 5/10 hit for the pair would really help boost their profiles.
It's a rather average song to be honest and doesn't really deserve to be top 10 but because Pixie could use the boost right now I'm hoping for a #1. Considering she got WDYTMF? into the top 10 I don't see why this couldn't do the same. Top 5 seems fairly realistic.

It was just so good until Tinchy came in, and it's his song :P I'd love this to do really good (mainly because of Pixie) but I really dislike him and his attitude. He tries to be 'cool', but just comes across as so full of himself, and he doesn't really have a personality.

Were you even listening to the song? He just said record labels didn't want to give him a chance because he didn't have a personality. :lol:

 

I don't think it's a problem though. With a discography as strong as his, a personality isn't really needed.

 

Anyway, I predict this will go top 20. Although I hope it does better, since I really like the song, and it would make up for two other songs that I love, What Do You Take Me For? and Off the Record both not doing as well as I hoped.

 

Is Pixie's Part II version available for cherry-picking? Maybe that would chart too.

I picked 'outside T20' for the 'want' option, as is is the only way I have of expressing my disapproval of artists I like, engaging in collaborations with *that* genre...

This'll go Top 20 I think. It all seems to have gone one way for Tinchy since Number 1 and I doubt this'll change it. Spaceship was a bit of a blip, probably because of hype over Dappy going solo - and you can hardly call it a hit, it had NO LEGS WHATSOEVER! Pixie has underperformed recently and even Taio couldn't get him a hit...

 

The melody just before and inside the chorus reminds me of Airplanes, as does Pixie's chorus. It even has a 'part 2' on Pixie's album too! :lol: I don't think it'll be anywhere near as big though.

He seems the most humble of the current British rappers imo. I guess it goes to show people who make very average songs but put on a blatant front and try to create a fictitious personality - like lady gaga - sell a lot of records.

And Eric- I agree with What do you take me for. That grew on me and now love it.
