Having started my period of re-listening to all the albums i bought in 2011 i do actually prefer Born this Way to 21. I used to feel differently but this is how i feel now. I suppose it depends on my mood, if i was feeling a little down i suspect 21 would be my fav.

 

I just like how anthemic Born This Way is and how Gaga tried to be more experimental whilst staying mainstream.

Lady GaGa is one of the worst albums of the year!

I voted Gaga first, but I also love Florence and Amy.

To be honest, people only say big sales dont equal good, if A) There fav doesnt sell or b), an act they don'tt like sells a lot.

You never ever hear them saying about an act they love selling well, or an act they dislike selling relativly badly.

I actually agree with this (the weight and ginger comments apart as not necessary) Obviously people have their own taste but I would rather stick pins in my eyes than listen to Adele's albums. She just makes me want to sleep. When I saw that Brits performance everyone was going on about I was totally underwhelmed.

I'm not sure thats true too be honest. Plenty of people with not much talent sell lots of records for many reasons. They only reason I want the acts I like to sell is so they can carry on making albums not because sales make other people think they are good. There's a big difference between good and commercial I think. Of course you can be both.
