Let's get a bit of perspective here Dan. Her last album and single bombed. Her fanbase is obviously not what it was 10 years ago. The song does not have a banner on iTunes and has only been out on radio a week. And despite that it's climbed rapidly into the top 5. It's a hit. No, it's not a Taylor Swift sized smash yet, because she's not Taylor Swift. What a useless comparison. Give the girl her f***ing dues!

 

No banner? Wow. It's interesting to note that P!nk's new single barely grazed the top 30 of iTunes when it came out (sans banner), it only shot up after the banner was put up. Pity RCA aren't investing in one for 'Your Body', it could have been #1 if they had.

This has #1 written all over it. Gay club banger of 2012.

I still can't get into this song, I honestly don't see how its any better than Not Myself Tonight.

This has finally clicked on me. Amazing song, it should be No.1 and Christina should be back on top form with her new album. Let's hope this becomes a hit. Much better than her Bionic stuff.

Cant believe this is down to #33 on US itunes already, :( I love the song, Does anyone know when music video is out? It might boost it abit.

The video's out on friday. It'll do fine once that gets premiered and promo begins. Airplay is looking good.

On Pop Songs, the song ascends 33-28 (up 81%) in its second week. While "Not Myself Tonight," the first single from Aguilera's last studio set, 2010's "Bionic," entered the Hot 100 at a higher rank than "Body" (No. 23, where it peaked), it did so with a lower sales sum (77,000).

Kesha and Rihanna's new single are not helping her chances of top 10, tbh.

 

I wonder when she will perform it on The Voice?

The performance was filmed weeks ago. I don't think it'll be shown until the live shows begin but there are performances lined up on the chat show circuit before then.

I didn't like the video I'm afraid. Lacks excitment and raunchiness.

 

An extended version of the NMT sex scene might have fitted better with the song.

Brilliant video! Should secure a top 10 hit at least here in the UK, with good airplay I could actually see this going to #1!
