New Digital Songs top 10:

1 [*] Katy Perry - Part Of Me 411k (NEW) (I thought this had a small amount of sales last week?)

2 [3] Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You 367k (up 89%)

3 [10] Adele - Rolling In The Deep 271k (up 115%) :cheer:

4 [4] Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 254k (up 36%) :cheer:

5 [2] Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) 252k (down 3%)

6 [1] fun. feat. Janelle Monáe - We Are Young 244k (down 17%)

7 [*] Nicki Minaj - Starships 204k (NEW) :D

8 [9] Adele - Someone Like You 183k (up 44%) :cheer:

9 [*] Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music 180k (NEW)

10 [5] LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It 136k (down 20%)

Little tidbit about Part Of Me - it's the highest one-week digital sales tally for any song since Born This Way did 509k in its second week (first full week). Cee Lo Green's 'F**k You!' at #2 on Digital Songs did 412k the same week also.

Great increases for all 3 Adele songs and as expected all are comfortably top 10 on the Hot 100 (SFTTR #2, RITD #5 and SLY #7) :D Which is, surprise surprise, another record, her being the first female artist to ever do that with all 3 as the lead artist. Rolling In The Deep being as high as #5 in its 59th week on the chart surely must be some sort of a record as well considering only seven other songs have ever lasted that long.

Three debuts in the Hot 100 top 10 this week (Katy #1, Nicki #9 and Chris #10) - that's pretty unusual AFAIA. I guess 2 of them were Grammy tie-ins though.

fun. could well be back at #1 next week - 1-6-1. Fun. (No pun intended).

1 [*] Katy Perry - Part Of Me 411k (NEW) (I thought this had a small amount of sales last week?)

There was an article posted which said it sold x amount in it's it's first 12 hours after being released immediately after her Grammy performance, but it wasn't actually released until midnight.

Calvin's at #88 (#102), #361 (#462) and #485 (#540). Rising really well! I wonder where he is combined. Ellie's at #111 (#104), #311 (#348) and #910 (#967). Decent I guess. And M.I.A is at #291 (#303). So she's doing OK.

One Direction down to #27. I wonder how low this will go. And Gotye at #8 :puke:

Go Calvin breaking the top 100 with his top version :cheer: I hope to see it making a climb on the Hot 100 when it's posted tomorrow.

 10. Rolling in the Deep - ADELE

 11. I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston

Whey. (Glee's highest entry is currently #12, could kick Adele straight back out if it's still climbing, but for now Adele is back up to 2 top 10 entries :P)

About Katy Perry, I think Part of Me charted on the Hot 100 last week (well, the bubbling under chart) from airplay only. So it would make sense the she debuts on the Digital chart only this week.
How can Katy Perry be number 1 when Adele has such a massive lead on it with its airplay
How can Katy Perry be number 1 when Adele has such a massive lead on it with its airplay

Katy sold 157k more than Adele. Adele's airplay lead was only 108 million. 157 > 108, so Katy was #1 by some distance.

Because Katy was nearly 200k ahead and had airplay updates of 6m?

No it isn't, it's from this article:

Some of the information was copied into that article, but it was originally posted in this one.

(The last 2 paragraphs of my original post were taken from the Hot 100 article though).

Katy #1 :cheer: Superb song to be #1 as well

The Wanted up to #5 now! :o

Glee Cast got their first song in the top 10 now. I think maybe a couple more might get in.

Tyga/Nicki up to #35. This is climbing so slowly considering how quick it first shot up.

So pleased for them! And off topic, but TW are up to #2 on Canadian iTunes.
