A chart record to do with Moves Like Jagger could be the fastest time taken for a #2 to sell a million? It's done it remarkably quickly, in all honesty.

A million in 20 weeks would be an insane pace for a non-charity/reality #1 let alone a #2. This record is definitely something to do with MLJ. Shame it could have happened to a better song <_< But hey, chart records are chart records.

Fresh new page in my chart spreadsheet. Fun times :D

How many weeks did it take? I don't have a clue tbh.

Strange for such a front-loaded song to climb into the top 40 like this! :o I think people have "gone back to it" after the success of Mama do the Hump. And also the gift cards.

Hi all, Happy New Year :D hopefully the best number 1 in well, ages today

it will be interesting to see all the re-entries this week

Definitely not, both 'Down With The Trumpets' and 'Mama Do The Hump' >>>>>>> this by a long way.

When I Was A Youngster is an odd one - I think it's the worst out of the three singles (as I really like DWTT and MDTH) but not unpleasant. I guess it's just bland.

Oh and I should point out that my mum's listening to the chart as well today so I may put a few of her opinions in my posts as she hates "chart music"

Discussion Thread Here

Jessie J could have 4 songs in the top 40 this week! Rather than Rihanna doing that for a change.

Rizzle Kicks will have 3 songs in there too. They could be really big with their next album.

I've grown to like 'Price Tag' again now it's stopped being ridiculously overplayed. It's a cut above the rest of her material for sure. Good to see it back.
I didn't expect Price Tag to stay in! I'm wondering if this means Jessie J could have four entries this week in the top 40 (Price Tag, Up, Domino and Who You Are), that would be quite an achievement from somebody who was unknown just over a year ago!
What a awful start to the charts, I wanted All About Tonight to re-enter the top 40 :(.
Will we hear anymore of B.o.B on the Chart Show in 2012?

He's releasing a new album this year, so possibly. It depends though. The lead single of it missed the top 40. :( I'll definitely be looking forward to the album though.

It took 4 weeks back in 1984 :D
