Given this information, could I start confirmation at around the 20/21st of January instead? This will begin the semi finals at the end of the month, with the final and final results at the beginning weeks of February.

 

I'm looking forward to a new country hosting, can't wait for the new contest to start! :D

I now have a shortlist of three potential entries - one of which I suspect a few others may also have in mind for the next contest too.

 

Will ponder over which track I want to enter the most and hopefully get my confirmation in early(ish). ^_^

At the moment, I have only one entry that I think could do well and that I really really like - and I have a feeling that others may want that too! I'll keep searching for another in case I need a backup :)

I have three or four, one major contender but I expect it to be snagged by someone else, so I have two or three backups that I love equally (if a bit less than the frontrunner :lol:)

Are we expecting Lana Del Rey to win this, or could someone like Jessica spring another surprise just like she did when she won in the first place? Let's have some discussion :D

I think it'll be either Lana or Loreen that wins this, neither of wich I would object to! :)

I'm expecting a win for either Sober or The Last Time or Video Games - either of which I'd be ecstatic with! 212 and Somebody That I Used To Know will both be top 10 as well think, perhaps shockingly.

Except Loreen, where will all the pop votes go, then? :o

I don't think Sober stands a chance at all. It won one of the main contests but there're too many better songs in here.

I haven't a clue how others are going to vote in this. There were easily some stand out winners in 2011 but also a couple of not so stand out (almost default it seemed :( ) winners.

 

I reckon the battles will be:

 

Batidas || Agnes Obel - Riverside Vs Isconia || Lana Del Rey - Video Games

 

The two big female piano ballads that stormed BJSC. Well, 'Video Games' stormed. 'Riverside' was just lucky (but I still love my entry regardless :wub: )

 

FSR Rontvia || Sheelah - The Last Time Vs Kopečka || Loreen - Sober

 

It's also a battle of the two most successful nations as they go head to head with these two tracks representing the most successful of Scandipop winners.

 

Espen || Frida Gold - Wovon sollen wir träumen Vs FSR Rontvia || Eric Amarillo - Om Sanningen Ska Fram

 

The only non English language tracks to make the final. Neither won their respective contests but which will prove the most popular in TBO?

 

Batidas || Gotye & Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know Vs Persephonia || Beth Ditto - I Wrote The Book

 

Both finished 13th in their respective contests making these the two least performing tracks to make TBO. Is it too soon to write off Beth Ditto as a strong contender?

I think Sober will win as well, or Lana coming up close. 212 will be top 10 especially with the BBC sound of 2012 and Gotye as well (don't understand the appeal of the Gotye's track tbh..).
