I've never been in a relationship personally, but I do like some of Adele's album. Like Rolling in the Deep, I like, just because it's simply really catchy to me. Even though I don't think I know most of the lyrics to it still.

I'm the same (on both accounts) and I like Rolling In The Deep and Set Fire To The Rain just because they're powerful catchy pop tracks. I think everyone can connect to Someone Like You one way or another though, which probably got slightly ruined for me in the end by overplay, but it's still brilliant.

I'm glad to see Domino doing very well. I wonder if You da One will climb again at somepoint because it's not going to be brilliant if her second single doesn't go top 10. I think it's been the first time that's happened since Music Of The Sun, and even then 'If It's Lovin' That You Want' only missed out by one place, so You da One could become her lowest charting 2nd single ever! :( Please promote!

 I had no idea Thriller sold that much

Alesha Dixon very clever, new single out *announces quitting stirctly to get press attention and hype around me* will fall soon? I think she'll be more suited to BGT then Strictly anyway. :)

Really think its her time to leave the music scene, however BGT may really help her, but radio and tv seem to not really go near her. She isnt really an 'artist' being the main reason. I like her though, nice girl.

Alesha is a very talented girl. I kind of always knew that her success with the Alesha Show era would be a fleeting thing though, and this new song isn't anything to write home about.

I just think Alesha's music career has been extremely mishandled. Her A&R team are terrible.

'The Boy Does Nothing' did brilliantly because of it's unique commercial appeal and 'Breathe Slow' did well because it is a commercial ballad. But then the great hits stopped coming. 'Let's Get Excited' was good but it wasn't particularly strong. "Let's get excited, I'm so excited..." wow Ivor Novello Award worthy... 'To Love Again' was a horrendous song choice. Firstly, they made the mistake of getting Gary Barlow on board. He's not the best writer if the product isn't for Take That. TLA was just dull. It didn't deserve a top 20 peak and I'm glad 'Lipstick' charted higher than it since that was a cracking lead single. And then 'Drummer Boy' happened. I think Alesha got ahead of herself and assumed she could release any old crap. I guess it's great that she was taking a risk but it is a shame that her and her team can't quite work out when something is clearly a terrible decision. It just sounded like a mess. Like five different songs playing at full volume simultaneously.

Never thought about 'You Da One' being Rihanna's lowest charting second single. :o It'll probably chart worse than the third singles from Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R and Loud. :o Shows just how poor a decision it was. It's like releasing 'Raining Men' as the second single from Loud - it just shouldn't happen.

^ Drummer Boy was ACE!! And Raining Men is so good too. Can't fault that beat. Although I agree it wouldn't have done good as a single.

Taio Cruz up to #6.

'Drummer Boy' to the vast majority was absolute RUBBISH, there is no denying that. The problem is that her label have never INVESTED artistically or financially in her. Cheap tracks from no-bit producers with poor promotion and a real lack of any visual aesthetic. If they had built on 'The Boy Does Nothing' they might have had something but in the end it has all been wasted...

Taio could rise to about No.3/4 tomorrow by the looks of it, should be interesting to see if it catches Flo Rida at some point

Speaking of Taio Cruz, I listened to Troublemaker again.....it might actually be growing on me now :( I'm aware that it's absolutely awful and generic, yet there's still something I like about it.

Taio is getting more and more generic with each passing album. I really hope we can get some more 'Come On Girl'/'Fly Away' type stuff from his first album. Also 'So Cold' is his best ballad.

Nice picture of the busty Sarah Beeny in your sig. ;)

Never noticed that Higher Love got so high! :o

Maybe Skepta could make the top 40 in the mid-weeks today, although I think there's no way he'll do it officially.

 27. Higher Love - James Vincent Mc Morrow

 62. Higher Love - James Vincent McMorrow

:cheer: (I wonder why this seems to only be properly taking off now when the ad has been on TV for like 3 months? Is this starting to get radio airplay now?)

Taio Cruz up to #4 - could well challenge Flo Rida for the #1 spot on iTunes later on in the week; just a shame it took so long to pick up. Weird seeing 'Rolling in the Deep', 'Pumped Up Kicks' and 'Wherever You Are' all back in the top 40 this week, considering they didn't get THAT much a boost last week.

That was #4 last week. And it's not in the top 40 on iTunes.

 43. Hold On (Original Mix) - Skepta

Could go top 40 if it keeps climbing :o Really surprised at how well this is doing.

 83. Pelican - The Maccabees

When's Scissor Sisters - Shady Love released?

That was #4 last week. And it's not in the top 40 on iTunes.

Probably meant "Wherever You Will Go", which is on an advert which I didn't see as much last week.

That was #4 last week. And it's not in the top 40 on iTunes.

52 and decreasing rapidly. Down to #5 Downloads and #2 physical on Amazon. #2 on HMV. Out of the top #100 on Play.
