Posted January 3, 201213 yr May as well start a thread for this now seeing as the line-up is revealed! Alesha Dixon and David Walliams join Amanda and Simon is returning :D And it'll be back on again very soon, it's come around so quick :o
January 3, 201213 yr The panel has a better feel to it this time, David Walliams should be great fun and will more than make up for the lack of McIntyre.
January 3, 201213 yr But David Walliams is always so nice. It'll be interesting to see him slagging off some of the acts.
January 16, 201213 yr Can't believe alesha is leaving strictly not gonna be the same without her probably be better
January 16, 201213 yr but still very good judging panal bgt this year so looks like it is gonna be good
January 31, 201213 yr Has anyone ever been to the auditions before? I'm already going to be in Birmingham during half-term when auditions are going to be held there and I've successfully applied for tickets to go and watch. Was wondering if anyone knew what it was like, how far in advance you should get there?
March 24, 201213 yr  at the lack of intrest in this. Normally when the show is on, everyone gives their opinions on the acts in this thread while the show is on, no-one is intrested anymore.
March 24, 201213 yr It's because it's become so OBVIOUS. Like we ALL knew that guy and the girl were gonna be good ... that the joke acts would be put through. I must say though that the woman who did poetry was hilarious, why didn't she go through?!
April 7, 201213 yr Wherearemykeys, wheresmyphone, how original  this was the highlight of the series so far
April 7, 201213 yr Wherearemykeys, wheresmyphone, how original  This still makes me laugh! Best moment of the series, and of BGT in a while.
April 7, 201213 yr Honestly....it's too predictable. It'll be a dance or singing act that will win.....Cowell will NOT go for a unqiue act like this talented girl from the Ukranian edition: 8yYcEX5O5a4
April 7, 201213 yr Best show of the series thus far. That girl who sang Purple Rain was pretty good and the lost my keys was gold. I really enjoyed that last dog act. I know we've seen plenty of them but that one is up there with the best animal acts imo.
April 9, 201213 yr Honestly....it's too predictable. It'll be a dance or singing act that will win.....Cowell will NOT go for a unqiue act like this talented girl from the Ukranian edition: 8yYcEX5O5a4 To be fair, most winners of reality TV shows in other countries are far more unique than what Britain has the offer. A lot of that stems from the judges on the UK shows who make it obvious who they want to win, and do everything they can to persuade the public to vote for that person.
April 10, 201213 yr To be fair, most winners of reality TV shows in other countries are far more unique than what Britain has the offer. A lot of that stems from the judges on the UK shows who make it obvious who they want to win, and do everything they can to persuade the public to vote for that person. I think we have a very gullible public. After all, this is the country who elected David Cameron in.
April 14, 201213 yr It seems this years series of BGT just hasn't ignited any interest from my fellow Buzzjackers. So here's a (sort of) interesting story/theory as to why not. Yesterday at work a few of us were discussing The Voice and commenting on our faves so far from throughout the series. Then the topic switched to Britain's Got Talent and saying how well Susan Boyle and Diversity have done. The girl in accounts then asked "who won BGT last year?" to which nobody could remember. I think that just said it all. Nobody remembers whatshisface from 12 months ago but remember Diversity and Susan Boyle from 2009 as if they were only in the BGT final themselves last weekend.
April 14, 201213 yr When you compare this to The Voice it's absolutely shocking. So tacky, full of cheesyness, so obvious who's going through or not and even the best acts REALLY aren't that good but the gullible public will be made to think so (i.e the girl who sang Skinny Love, the dance troupe who were nowhere near as good as the standard of others, and the woman in a wheelchair who just got sympathy votes). Hopefully this show ends soon, it's way past it's sell by date, but I guess it does appeal to a dumbed down audience.
April 22, 201213 yr Author Oh my god, my best friend sent me the video of the woman who did impressions of Anne Robinson, Deirdre Barlow, Audrey Roberts and Anne Widdecombe - she was absolutely hilarious! I was crying with laughter when she did Audrey!
