Here are mine:-

Darren Hayes : Secret codes & battleships - brilliantly written and produced. Every song on the album is amazing. Very underated artist.

The Wanted : Battleground - A brilliant pop album which really shows the lads to be at the top of their game

Nicole Scherzinger : Killer love - This album appears to have been overlooked by many. Includes the singles & many other delights

Mel C : The Sea - Outstanding album and by far her best to date.

Sophie Ellis Bextor : Make a scene - One of my favourite artists. Love every track on the new album. Worth the long wait!!!

Chris Brown - F.A.M.E. Just brilliant. Has everything from rap to r'n'b to electropop to hip hop, ballads and uptempos. I still can't believe 'Look At Me Now' wasn't a single here. :(

Saturdays - On Your Radar. Perfect pop album as usual by the girls. Shame about it's commercial success, though.

Clare Maguire - Light After Dark

Caro Emerald - Deleted Scenes... (OK, it wasn't *technically* released in 2011, but it didn't take off until this year).

Adele - 21

Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto

Chase & Status - No More Idols

Ed Sheeran - +

Adele - 21

westlife - Greatest Hits

quelle surprise -_-

of the albums I've listened to:

Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto (I may seem biased, but its a good album! :P )

PJ Harvey - Let England Shake (stunning album, well worthy of a Mercury!)

Chase & Status - No More Idols (I only listened to this the other day, but its really good! quite a good range of vocalists too)

The Vaccines - What Did You Expect From The Vaccines (another one I only listened to the other day, I must admit, its solid, but nothing amazing)

hopefully, Ceremonials will be added to this soon :P

Nicola Roberts' Cinderella's Eyes was one of my favourite albums of the year, I was suprised how great the album it was - it's by far better than Cheryl Cole's solo albums. Some great tracks on there, but I'm not really shocked it didn't do well, as the lead didn't do well, and I don't think she did much promotion in the two weeks before the album (not as much as she did for BOMD anyway)

Britney Spears - Femme Fatale

Nicole Scherzinger - Killer Love

Foster The People - Torches

Adele - 21

Arctic Monkeys - Suck It And See

all 5+ imo.

Lady Gaga - Born This Way

Wynter Gordon - With The Music I Die

Kelly Clarkson - Stronger

The Saturdays - On Your Radar

Rebecca Ferguson - Heaven

Olly Murs - In Case You Didn't Know

Cassandra Steen - Mir So Nah

Nicole Scherzinger - Killer Love

Britney Spears - Femme Fatale

Florence & The Machine - Ceremonials

for me. Shame Mir So Nah and With The Music I Die never even got released here! :( The former is understandable though being in German! First and last time that Cassandra Steen gets a mention in this forum

My two favorites where Gillian Welch - The Harrow & the Harvest and Steve Earle - I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive.

2011 had been a much better year than 2010, many of my favorite artists released a new album (which definitely means that 2012 is going to be a pretty empty year again...)

Melanie C - The Sea (must underated / under appreciated artist ever) !!!

Kelly Rowland - Here I Am

Mary J Blige - My Like Part 2
