Etta James's chart history before now is almost non-existent - a few weeks of 'I Just Wanna Make Love To You' in 1996 (cus of the Diet Coke ad linked earlier) and four weeks of 'At Last' in 2010-2011, never peaking higher than #69. Hope it finally gets its deserved top 40 placing.

Meanwhile, Mama Do The Hump has been reduced to 59p!! :o

Its been reduced nearly all week

Not sure how high Etta James will chart tomorrow with "At Last", she must just scrape the top 40 only just.

 16. At Last - Etta James

 78. I Just Want to Make Love to You - Etta James

'At Last' could just sneak into the top 40 for tomorrow then? I'd imagine it's a fairly decent trickle seller anyway so it won't have sold nothing from Sunday to Friday afternoon. If it doesn't make it tomorrow I don't think it'll make it at all though, only Michael Jackson has had any real staying power past the first few days of his 'death boost' and that was only because of every single music channel playing his music on repeat for seemingly weeks.

I'm not sure she'll make it at all - it's been around 700-ish this week until today, so won't have contributed much more than maybe 500 sales - I doubt the last 28 hours could make up enough. In chart terms, she would have needed to die maybe half a day earlier.

44. T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) [will.i.am feat Mick Jagger & Jennifer Lopez Deluxe Remake] - Kings of Pop

69. Wild Ones (Flo Rida feat. Sia Remake) - Wild Flo

94. Twilight - Cover Mogul

100. Hot Right Now (Tribute to DJ Fresh feat Rita Ora) - Cover Pop

Seriously? FOUR fakes in the top 100?

Oh GOD at how high that fake Twilight is now - if that utter shite beats Lana Del Rey to #1

Twilight is one of the most infuriating songs i've ever heard lol  I hope it misses the top 10, but that doesnt seem likely!

Is Kelly Clarkson gaining on Top 5 at all?
I can plausibly see Twilight beating Born To Die, that's the horrible thing :(

Wow!! :o

Didn't expect to see Etta James as high as #16. :o :o

I seriously thought it would creep into the lower top 100.

I really hope it gets at least one week in the top 40 again as a mark of respect.

BTD for number 1 this week.... but I guess she will end up in like number 6.

Again?

AFAIK it has never been T40 before?

I never expected Lana to get anywhere near #1, at least not with the *single*...

Shame that 'I'd Rather Go Blind' is that low, compared to 'At Last'. I actually prefer IRGB and think its one of the best songs ever recorded.

I'd love Twilight to get to #1. I know it's been overplayed, but it's really good in my opinion. Lana Del Rey will probably get loads of #1s all around the world in the future.

Seeing as Rizzle Kicks are close, I don't care what gets to number 1 actually as long as it dethrones them

I agree, IRGB is one of those songs that is amazing no matter who sings it!

I just heard JME's song on the radio, and they called it "96 Thuggeries". It's down to #41 now, so it probably won't make it. :( Another rapper needs to tweet about it asap.

How will rap fans survive, if this doesn't make it...
