R1 played it this morning at about 8pm - so people (i.e. me) who only listen to R1 will have heard the track for the first time - so an increased lead on iTunes doesn't surprise me. I've given up hope that Jessie J or David Guetta & Sia can claim the #1 this week - just hope Rizzle Kicks aren't in the top 3.

Listening to the Flo Rida featuring T-Pain & LMFAO track, 'Run to You'. LMFAO's verse copies lines from 'Party Rock Anthem' - hopefully it's an album track, not a single - the artists all interrupt each other so it sounds like a big mess.

Gotye at #10 - woo! 4 new entrants to the top 10 this week then!

Wow at Gotye! :o

I really do like this song and the chorus is so unexpected. Would love for this to go top 10 this week along with Kelly Clarkson. So we're looking at 4 new entries in the top 10 this week. :o Possibly 5 if either Chris Brown/Pitbull or Lana Del Rey finally sneak in and overtake Taio Crud in the process.

Also great to see 'Commander' being 59p. I might even buy it finally. :D

Lana was 76.5% of Taio 6.5 hours ago and now she's on 81.6%. She might do it actually unless she stalls. But I think Taio will hold on.
I don't think a chart number 1 list of Flo Rida- Good Feeling, Jessie J- Domino, Flo Rida- Wild Ones will reflect well on the music industry. For the sake of some variety I hope Cover Drive hang in there

Cover Drive will be number 1 EASY.

They are still just over 30% ahead of Domino, so even if they do fall who-ever takes over will need to build up a huge lead.

Too true! :D Although 'Twilight' is rather average, it's better than two Flo Rida tracks getting to number one within a month of each other. Personally, I'd rather 'Titanium' or 'Somebody That I Used to Know' got to #1 (even though the former isn't as amazing as some people would like to believe on here :P).

Right, if Gotye climbs above Taio and Lana gets to #11 quickly she should still be in with a shout of top 10. EP sales should cancel out multiple versions of Avicii / Lloyd so they're not really her main concern anymore, it's her vs. Taio vs. Pitbull for #10 assuming Goty keeps climbing.
Ugh. I was hoping that Gotye would be the shock flop of the year. Looks like it will go top 3 then :drama:
Taio Cruz will be in the top 10 come Sunday. I imagine it's at #10 at this current stage - with Gotye at something like #13/14 and Lana del Rey at #8/9 because of the EP sales - but that should short itself out. Would be funny to have it fall 03-06-09-12 though, but it's unlikely.

 47 Ed Sheeran - Drunk

 48 Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoe

Both climbing hugely thanks to their video releases. Hopefully Nicki makes top 40, I'm sure Ed will!

You do realise Lana's EP is selling hardly anything? It's only #22 and has never been in the top 10. Lloyd and Avicii will probably finish ahead of her I think unless she can go top 10.

'Drunk' in the top 50 :cheer: Hopefully it'll go top 40 by the end of the day and top 10 eventually.

The shock here is that there's an indie song from Australia/New Zealand doing well in the UK at all! Thank god it's smashing!

Jessie J's gaining on Cover Drive again :drama: The lead is still 32% though.

 121. Lick Ya Down - Cover Drive (Climbed 94 places since last night's 59p reduction! :cheer: )

It'll be selling something physically though, might only be a couple of hundred copies but at this stage that's a couple of places.

She really should have made it a double a-side like "Video Games / Blue Jeans", the EP would have sold a LOT more.

But the hype surrounding it, it's definitely not a shock that it's doing that well. I was rather hoping it would be a bit like Florence's 'Rabbit Heart (You Raise Me Up)' or something and be a long running top 20 hit instead. But it looks like it's going to be a long running top 10 hit :( BAD TIMES (for me, anyway aha)

Combined Kworb update

Rizzle Kicks possibly having a chart run in the top 10 of 08-03-02-05 at this rate - hoping 'Wild Ones' can debut in the top 5 officially and then we get double Sia in the top 5!

Gotye up to #8.

Lana now 86.1% of Taio... Still gaining quite rapidly.

Actually I feel Lana as a quite overhyped artist but 'Born to Die' is just pure quality.
