I think David Guetta is safe for #1 this week, bearing in mind the top version of Alyssa's song is only #5, and it's been 24 hours, and she's most likely to be frontloaded. Although I expect her to be #1 in the mid-weeks.

I don't think it'd be "stooping low" though. It's just a remix, so I don't think it'll be on her album.

Alyssa Reid of all people has crashed iTunes, go her! I know she's getting some hate, but she really does have a beautiful voice and it's not her fault AATW her messed up her song to cut out the awesome verses in the original... I think we can expect some big things from her in the future if AATW handle the second single (The Game?) as well as Alone Again... we'll see!

Actually, that's a point, why isn't she promoting Arms if she has the chance? Or has she resigned herself to being a one-hit wonder now? :(

Looks like David Guetta for a #1 tomorrow, Alyssa could catch up later in the week, its just too early to tell at the moment. If Alyssa goes to #1 she be the first new act of 2012 to reach #1 and without a previous hit as said above.

No need for the rolleyes, thanks. I know she's not a one-hit wonder in the strictest sense of the word, you can hardly call A Thousand Years a roaring success though.

 

I'm not sure what's going to happen now. I might even prefer it if Alyssa ends up at #2, she'll be saved from the 'can't believe this went to #1' brigade and I'll have Titanium at #1. But I wouldn't mind her getting the first new act at #1 this year accolade. Hmm...
