Seriously though, if I want life injected into a song, I prefer it to be via a good dance beat.

I take it Will.I.Am will be the only new release to go top 10 on iTunes this week? Which should thankfully push Pixie out unless Lana or Kelly lose steam rapidly. I wonder if the release of the single version of 'Stronger' will benefit its chart position next week.

I absolutely LOVE IT. Wasn't so sure to begin with but the lyrics are hilarious/amazing and so is the video :wub:.

The Bubbles bit is my favourite part of Stupid Hoe.

 

Surprised GAYLUV isn't top 10 on iTunes yet. Maybe it won't happen at all.

It amuses me that GAYLUV is the acronym for Madonna's new single.

Maybe it's too early too judge the performance of 'GMAYL'. The video only premiered yesterday and I've seen it once on Chart Show TV. Once airplay kicks in, it's bound to start climbing again.

 

Still, being Madonna I would've expected the loyalists to be out in force to buy the single and see the track top 10 by now. Then again, after the (not so great) success of 'Hard Candy' maybe the fans are slightly dubious? Who knows...

I really like Stupid Hoe. The beat is AMAZING!! :D So unique. I just love all the random sounds that appear in it. It's so different.

 

Plus, it's done such a good job at promoting her album. Everybody has been talking about the song recently. :lol:

 

I find I can memorize raps just by listening to the song repeatedly. Since in good raps most of the words rhyme, it makes them difficult to get out of your head. :lol:

 

Next week will.i.am should go top 10 (hopefully) and also maybe David Guetta, Pitbull, Ed Sheeran and Madonna (although it looks like she's falling now).

The only new release other than will.i.am that I can even see making the top 40 is Sub Focus' new single (although I bet it'll end up stalling at #41 like 'Could This Be Real' and 'Splash' - I really hope it makes the top 40, it's far better than those two (although not as good as 'Rock It' which thankfully did make the top 40)).

 

Maverick Sabre's new one is out as well but I can't see it doing much especially as his album is also out next week.

Maverick Sabre's new song was released on Monday via one of the compilation albums and it's only at #259 atm. :( No doubt it'll get a big boost on Sunday, but it doesn't bode well if you compare it to Still Speedin' by Sway, which was also on a compilation album before released, as a dance remix, and that went top 100 on iTunes, then the original went top 20.

Most loyalists got the single free thru the pre-order of the album and as far as I'm aware that doesn't count towards the chart. I think her position is based on individual single purchases alone and i would imagine that would be very little in comparison to album pre-orders. Plus it's been nil promo in the UK yet. Tomorrow night is her much anticipated super bowl performance, that might change things a bit. After all, she did say it will be the biggest show on earth.
