Dermot O'Deary is rumoured to be setting his sights on a move to the US X Factor.

 

All I can say is they can have him - good riddance!!

But pleeeeeeeease don't replace him with equally bad & childish Ant & Dec

 

Gaby Logan, Fearne Cotton or Matt Allwright would do a great job

Holly Willoughby but as she is doing the voice she couldnt. I really like Dermot so hope he stays.

Dunno I'd be surprised if Simon Cowell let him go to the USA, I think USA X Factor would be better of with a US host.

 

If he quit, I'd imagine they would go for a duo. Can't think who though. I'd be very surprised if it was anyone whose mentioned in the first post.

It would probably be Christine Bleakley knowing their past form with making choices *shudder*

No doubt it will end up being Olly and Caroline if Dermot escapes!

Hope we don't lose Dermot, he just does it so effortlessly.

I think it would do the show good to get a new host, Dermot is a bit too tiresome now.

Oh my God, please please please go Dermot, go anywhere, off a cliff, into a furnace, just please don't be back on X Factor this year.

 

Ant & Dec would be a truly dire choice though, I can't really think of anyone else I would like, Holly would be good as was mentioned above but she is doing The Voice.

I think this is a load of "twaddle" anyway, Dermot said himself Simon wants an American host for the USXF, so a move across the pond is a billion to one chance in my opinion. However, I do think considering he's gotten rid of Paula and Nicole "Destroyer of childrens dreams" Scherzinger (HA.) I think we could be in for a re-shuffle too. I like Dermot, but some of his Dermot-isms are beginning to grate a bit.

Holly is awful. Can't stand. Dermot can be irritating as sin but he's also infinitely preferable to Ant & Dec.

100% agree. Worst (and therefore best) X Factor-related presenter ever!! But anything is better than Ant 'n' Dec. I could deal with Dermot being back myself.

Not liking all the Ant & Dec hate :( they're probably my favourite TV presenters - although I would probably rather Dermot stay, I actually think he does his job very well and can't really think of who else I would like (Unless of course they got Charlie Brooker to replace him :D :lol: )

They aren't *that* bad but they're on EVERYTHING. It would be nice not to have a Syco show immediatly run to them.
