That new MIA track is record of the week on radio 1 at the moment for Greg James!
No it isn't - DJ Fresh's extended mix keeps it ahead (just) and he's still got his EP at #10.

Plus 12 inch physicals to add at the end of the week.

 2. Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra) - Gotye

 3. Next to Me - Emeli Sandé

Gotye's 2 album versions are at #47 and #67 :D Emeli's album version is still at #7 - it's still increasing rapidly so I wouldn't be surprised it it climbs into the top 5 later today! The single version is actually holding up incredibly well, barely falling at all.

 25. Rolling In the Deep - ADELE

Seriously, how is this still climbing? It's been over 48 hours since her Grammys performance now! :o

I really hope that Nicki can manage to keep going.

17. Lil Wayne / Bruno Mars 'Mirror'

24. Rebecca Ferguson 'Nothing's Real But Love'

30. Nicki Minaj 'Starships'

34. Emeli Sande 'Read All About It, Part III'

Incredible to think Lil Wayne may actually crack the T25 this week, making 'Mirror' his highest-peaking single as the lead artist, come on! Hoping to see Nicki Minaj sneak into the T40 come Sunday too, and possibly even Emeli Sande, but I imagine the multiple versions of 'Rolling in the Deep' and her own track 'Heaven' will push it down to #45/50.

I hope Emeli can hold onto a Top 3 spot after Daddy I wondered if she would get another Top 10 hit.

I hope Nicki does well but Starships is beneath her she does not need to do RedOne pop songs.

Seriously great for Emeli having two versions of the exact same song in the top 10, hope she's done enough to make #1, even though I also like Hot Right Now.

Happy her piano version is in top 40 too  So beautiful! .. Her whole album is

Rolling in the Deep #25 :D :D How is this a year old, never left the top 100 and still sounds so fresh. Longevity is so deserved! Brits next week too

Does anyone have any idea when Katy Perry - Part Of You is getting a release here?

I'm pretty sure it is March 11th.

Also, isn't it called 'Part Of Me'?

'Next To Me' is now just barely ahead of DJ Fresh with both combined (DJ Fresh is 99.6% of her to be precise :P) but of course DJ Fresh's EP means he's almost certainly still ahead really.

I know no one else cares but James Vincent McMorrow's Higher Love is back up to #66  Hopefully it'll climb again from #72 this week.

This seems to be doing far worse here than anywhere else - I wonder why?

Even with the Superbowl it's #29 on US iTunes, so its not doing too brilliantly there either and thats with huge promo. It just matters how much longevity it has now

 22. Starships - Nicki Minaj

 99. Man or Muppet - Jason Segel & Walter

Does this have something to do with the Muppets movie?

Yes it is in the Muppets movie

Here is the video for it:

Wow at Emeli :o 2 versions top 10 and the top version has only just fallen a place!

Even more wow at Nicki, I'm ASTOUNDED she's climbed 8 places in just an hour, I really thought it would have stalled long before now! Really hope it's massive, best song in the top 40 right now

It is :P I quite like Lee's song typos

Nicki Minaj - Starships  #18

I can't believe Nicki is doing better with her own OA/OS song than she did as a featured artist on MADONNA's OA/OS song :o Nicki is hardly an established artist here, she's only had huge success with 'Super Bass' and 'Where Them Girls At' previously and the rest of her releases have either flopped (Right Thru Me, Your Love, Roman In Moscow, Stupid Hoe, most of her featured appearances) or had middling success (Check It Out, Fly, Moment 4 Life, Girls Fall Like Dominoes, a couple of her featured appearances, her album), not really an expected candidate for such a massively successful and instant OA/OS!

Looking through Nicki's discography, I can't believe '2012 (It Ain't The End)' is her third highest peaking single. I can't even remember how that song goes.

One Direction's One Thing seems to be gaining a fair bit since the weekend - now they've got 2 versions in the top 40 [26 and 34]

Seems a bit odd that the EP version has jumped up so much in the past day or so as it seemed to be struggling on Sunday/ Monday. They may have a chance of actually going top 10 seeing as the EP is at 14 + they're bound to have stronger physicals than most

Starships just needs good airplay for it to be a hit. I hope radios really get behind it and make it a huge hit for her!

She's had some incredible songs in the past that have criminally underperformed!
