It's surprising the lack of airplay outside of Radio 1. The song is exactly the sort of thing radio would like, and Pixie has typically been massive with radio.

Yeah I really like this and I thought radio stations would too. But f*** Capital. Whenever I switch to Capital, it's either The Wanted or Cover Drive, both of which their parent company have a financial interest in.

Dull week. Hope the new Sean Paul song can make somewhat of an impression. The StooShe song is pretty decent, hope it charts higher than Marcus' abomination. Tinchy's new one is probably one of his worst (and does anyone else think Pixie sounds like a wannabe Ellie Goulding on it?)

Gotye to get a 4th week at #1 please :P

Itunes must have been stuck big changes...

Marcus - #16

Tinchy ft Pixie - #34

Stooshe - #43 & F me #218.

I think Tinchy Stryder is pretty cursed, he's never had REALLY strong radio support aside from 'Number 1' and 'You're not Alone', the 5th single off album 2, has had more airplay than most of his newer songs.

Yeah, I used to hear You're Not Alone on the radio all the time!!! I still remember the first time I heard it on the radio aswell, they had people text in with their opinions on the song. Very divided (mainly from people liking the original finding it weird). But I was like "That was so amazing, I need to hear it again NOW". It had those Turn Me On/Only Girl/Wet/etc. synths before they really got popular aswell.

Yeah, Capital play them a lot. It was very strange with Cover Drive's first single, because usally Capital gradually increase the airplay of songs, then gradually decrease them again, but to me it seemed like one day they magically were playing Lick Ya Down every 2 hours, then they did that for 3 months, and then suddenly I never heard it again on there. Very strange. The Wanted and Cover Drive are managed by the comany that manages the radio stations I think.

This happened last week as well IIRC.

Tinchy could be heading for another top 10 hit - will be odd for this to outpeak Off The Record as Calvin is probably a bigger name than Pixie and the song is far better.

I prefer the Part 2 of Bright Lights which is on Pixie's album, both of them sound much better on it.

Does anyone else think that StooShe sound like a more downmarket version of the Pussycat Dolls?

That's doesn't sound like a bad thing, to me...

I love that version aswell. I don't know why it's album only. :( Pixie could be having another top 40 hit at the moment. Pixie's version, with some "Rolling in the Deep piano" thrown in, sounds so much like this imo:

The new Taio Cruz/Flo Rida song in the top 1000. :puke: It's AWFUL. Horrific.

Dappy down to #9. Maybe he'd fall out of the top 10 without the new entries anyway.

You're Not Alone is my favourite Tinchy song

And yes Pixie in BL sounds almost identical to Ellie in Wonderman.

Marcus  #14 :( no...no...NO!!!!!!!!

Tinchy/Pixie  #31

Stooshe  #35

I'm hoping Gotye for a 4th week at #1, with Marcus, Stooshe and Tinchy/Pixie doing a Dappy, peak too early and drop off later in the week.
I actually like all the new releases to some degree, although as I said I much prefer Pixie's part 2 to Bright Lights. StooShe is my favourite new release, I hope they go top 10 (I expect it will miss out though)

Tinchy is proving to be a one album wonder then at the mo.

Never really knew how Stooshie would fare

Any of these new entries, or Nicki for #1 - anything, just anything, but another week for Gotye, I can't take anymore. :( :( :(
Gotye's song is one of the best in the entire chart, but I'd like something different to get to #1. :) It's just a bit boring with the same song #1 for ages.

12. Seven Nation Army - Marcus Collins

26. Bright Lights (feat. Pixie Lott) - Tinchy Stryder

32. Love Me - Stooshe

92. Are You Not Entertained? (Radio Edit) - Dot Rotten

I'm really glad "Love Me" is underperforming (so far, anyway) - awful song :puke:

29. Love Me - Stooshe
