I'm sure The Wanted will get number 1 tbh, Train and Jason Mraz are both decent album sellers and that Lee Brice guy is number 1 on Country Songs and 33 on the Hot 100 so that could translate to good album sales, but as Jahq said his last album didn't get anywhere near so we never know. I'd say one of Train/Jason will keep TW off, but The Voice and Idol promo plus how well the single has done should get them top 5 comfortably I'd imagine. One week later and they'd be f***ed royally - Queen Carrie Underwood unleashes her opus :D

I'd be surprised if The Wanted beat Jack White personally.

Agreed. And Train + Jason Mraz are huge album sellers because their demographic (women in their 30s/40s) is the only one that still buys albums

Mraz and Richie are gunning for the top slot next week with their respective "Love is a Four Letter Word" and "Tuskegee" albums. Both sets are going to sell perhaps around 100,000 to 110,000 copies each -- so say industry prognosticators. If Mraz tops the list, it will mark his first No. 1 album. He's gone as high as No. 3 with 2008's "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." Richie's "Tuskegee" jumped to No. 1 last week on the chart for the first time, selling 129,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan. Train's "California 37" may debut around Nos. 4 or 5 with 70,000 sold

So it's seems that only Jack White may beat Wanted next week.

I don't think The Wanted will come close to getting a #1. HDD have predicted that they will sell between 35k- 40k this week. Those sales are pretty disappointing to be honest. Jack White will mostly get #1 as he's expected to sell 110k-120k.

Oops, that'll be a pretty disappointing result. Don't think their promo slots and radio airplay could have been any better.
40K sounds like a disaster. That sounds like the sales of a UK #1 album 6 months after release! Plus, I guess it'll give 1D an edge for now in the battle of the boybands.

I thought that The wanted have a chance to sale more than 1D sold in their 1st week, and now it seems that TW may sold less in theis first week than 1D in their 6th week(53k).

Here's another HDD prediction on where the top ten is heading:

*Jack White (Third Man/Columbia) 120-130k

Adele (XL/Columbia) 85-90k

Lionel Richie (Mercury Nashville) 80-85k

One Direction (Syco/Columbia) 40-45k

Nicki Minaj (YM/CM/Universal Republic) 35-40k

*Lee Brice (Curb) 35-40k

Jason Mraz (Atlantic) 35-40k

*Kip Moore (MCA Nashville) 35-40k

Gotye (Fairfax/Universal Republic) 30-35k

*The Wanted (Mercury/IDJ) 30-35k

So The Wanted could sell as low as 30k :o

Is the EP thing even allowed to chart on the albums in the US?
Their goes their "respect" in America after a short period of success.

As long as it's over 4 songs long, yes.

I didn't expect their album to do well at all anyway. Jessie J and The Script both had hits in the US and their albums flopped (although they had high peaks). It's quite clear One Direction are a one off.
The Wanted (particularly Tom) have a habit of speaking without thinking. They'd do well to get a bit of media training if they're going to be in this industry for a long time.
I dont' think it's the media thing at all. The fact is, TW's albums didn't do that well in the UK too unlike 1D who debuted at 2 and have gone 2xP there. MY personal opinion is that TW have had better songs (Glad you came, Gold forever) but the overall "package" goes to 1D. (At least I'm glad 1D are still selling well without any promo planned for the next 4 weeks till the tour starts).

I'm not saying their comments have anything to do with their success. I'm saying that if they intend to make it big time they need to start watching what they say.

I get what you were trying to say, but if the music isn't seen as good enough by the public, no amt of media savvyness will help!
